My current green quick release snap on dual 80s. Snap on doesnt offer green hard handles on the quick releases, so I just mod em and make them work for me!

The 1/2 flex head is a beast!!!! Its much bigger than the picture suggests!

How much to pimp them if you dont mind

Well since I don't have a snap on guy, ratchets were sourced new and used on eBay and here to save a few bucks, and hard handles were bought new from snap on site for 15-20 bucks each. Expensive but worth it!

From there, a vice, drill and bits, dead blow hammer, and boiling water are your friend for the conversion. More on that in other threads on the forum...

also i got rid of my snap on cart (which wasnt green but flat black/red trim) at the time matched my classic box. i recently traded the box in for a huge master series in gloss black and my setup wasnt matching. at the same time i outgrew my snap on cart and snapon didnt make anything bigger or better. but my Mac dealer showed me their newest cart and i fell in love. i told him build me a green one and i buy it.... 2 months later i get this bad boy

I am pretty sure we have all over paid for that one item we wanted so bad and didn't realize if we just wait it out a better deal will come around... So then we buy that one too :p

Ain't that the truth! Sorry, I know it's not green related, but I was reading this thread (drooling at the pics!) and just happened to read this post within about 90 seconds of it coming true for me (bought a classic hard handle #4 Phillips SO screwdriver from the US, at a cost of about £16 delivered - and just found an IDENTICAL one on UK ebay for, currently, £3.50!!!)

What is the warranty with the Mac cart. And what kind of drawer retention system are they using on the new cart.

i was told Lifetime from my dealer but i havent seen it in written. he did say any toolbox cart and Tools MADE/Manufactured by MAC comes with lifetime. and this cart is Manufactured and made by MAC in USA. so he said its covered lifetime. w

the drawers have some type of magnetic soft close feature where the drawers will draw in and close by itself once its near closing. and stay in the closed position till you open it

so far i love the cart so much more room then any other cart ive owned.

Really liking the green tool boxes. Can someone post the color code of the green paint used or does snap on sell the paint?

I know that bob cat dealers sell the orange/white/ black paint used on all their equipment so ppl can get that like 'factory color' for touching up scratches and scrapes.

thanks

Picked up an orange benchmade griptillian a short while ago. Awesome knife. They have one called a "Triage" that almost came home with me as well.

I know this is a "green" thread but he did ask for suggestions!

I think it would be very difficult to replace plier grips without wrecking them.. They're dipped at the factory.

Yes that's done at the factory. No replacements are available. If ur dealer is really nice he may warranty them but the grips are not considered a warrantable item.
U must be beating on them hard to wear out the grips cuz those grips r pretty tough

You could always tear the old grips off and spray them with green plasti-dip if you were that hard up for green ones...

Well the grips are made at the factory by dipping the handles in liquid and then letting it dry. Your only options to turn red handle pliers into green handle pliers is to strip the old grip off and using something like green plasti dip, or sell them and buy green ones. I guess you could spray plasti dip over the grips that are already there but I doubt it would stick very well.

SGSR104AG seal removers.

Where's the can of monster?!!! Haha
That set is nice. Never realized it but it is one of my most used tools. I use em to pick pry and jab just about everything. Nice having a rounded corner. I use the short straight one 99% of the time. Every now n then the long straight one. I almost never use the contoured one that slants off to the side slightly

As requested. I took the first pic in the house and left the monster outside.

I like the flat heads too. They prevent gouging and tearing that regular picks accidentally do.

No interest in selling them, with me for life my tools.

Why would it affect resale though, if they are plasti dipped at the factory whats the difference.
