Actually just turn the pic upside down and it's printed right on the handle

Got a new ct8810g a couple days ago for 400 bucks. And my green snap on pry bar set is going to be here next week.

Are all tools available in green? I wanted to get the pick set in green, but dealer told me only red (soft grip version). I noticed the catalog does not show all the fancy green tools you guys keep coming up with.

Anyone have a part number on these? I am ticked my dealer told me that they were only available in red. I have been trying to get all green.

There is a thread somewhere about replacing the handles. I don't think it is that hard but I've never done it.

The above numbers are for soft grip ratchet handles not sure about instinct handles.

Thanks for the part numbers, I am going to look into it for sure. I found them on ebay, now I will see how much they are from snap on.

The swap seems straight forward, but from now on, I will be ordering them in green instead of red.

Awesome, they are $6.95, $11.95, and $13.95. That is about half what the ebay sellers are asking.

A lot of times you can call snap on directly to get availbility. I had to call them to get my green torque wrenches I saw on here

He may be right...that Pick set comes & goes...Nov/Dec of 2013 I believe only the 2 piece set was in green...then last summer the big set like you pictured became available...
Just looked online...I'm seeing the Red & Orange still available in 6pc (and the 2pc in Green/Red/Orange)...
You might have to be patient until they get re-run...they come available every once in a while.

SGRHT6B is the PN# for the 6 pc set..

I may look into changing out the handles if it comes down to it, although having my picks all red handles may give a nice christmas feel all year long.

Re: The Green Tools ****

Honestly I'd get the 2 piece set and then add the single hook back one. You really don't need all 6 pieces for the price
The 2 puece set they make will do 90% of what you need

Too late, I bought them a few weeks ago. I guess now that I know I will be more diligent about getting things with green handles up front. I have only used one of the hooks so far, I guess I could always sell them and get the two green ones as suggested. Of course my seal pullers are red now too. I can't win, I think I will just stick to red for my picks and green for the rest of the stuff, at least I won't grab a pick thinking it is a screw driver.

These are the only ones I use. The other 2 long ones snap on makes aren't that different really in their shape and don't reason much benefit.

I did buy this small mac 90 pick because snap on doesn't make one.....well they kinda do but it's not that small

Once I get a chance, I will need to assess the situation, I may end up selling some and buying some others. I am usually pretty good about researching stuff, I just bought a set of the striking cap prybars in green, then I see them on the website for $20 cheaper than the drivers price. I know I could buy them on ebay for even less, but I am trying to build a relationship with the driver so when the deals are out, he will think of me.

IMHO...not cool, ask him why more then MSRP?...here in S. Maine...I cant say I've ever paid more then Web Price on any of the trucks, even when I was a part time Recon Guy during my college days at USM...and as a cash-hassle free customer, the deals quickly turn up. I got a smoking deal on 3 sets of the green 2-pc sets a while back.

My Guy is sure to keep/inform me of anything green that comes across the truck.

I am going to ask him, but since I was not there when he dropped them off, I did not get to see the invoice. Once I see the actual invoice, I will know how much he actually charged me.

They are, buy my ct7850 and I'll throw the boot in for free. Haha.

I'll try and dig up the part number this evening for you.
