Re: The Hammer - Now with pricing and ordering details.

Just used mine yesterday with the nylon head. I love it.

I would be interested in one of the original hammers, if they are still being offered.

Randomly came across this, I love it. It's a grownup version of the hammers the freshman had to make in Machining 101 (plus I bet this one doesn't rely on unintensional press fits) :D

Are you still offering the hammers? If yes, can you please update price, shipping, etc?

Where in Southern Illinois are you located? I'd be tempted to drive up if you are not too far North.

Ditto minus the drive part.

Yes the OP was and or probably still is
a moderator on this site. Last I knew
he was very busy with his job so he may
not have time to make any.
Damn shame the pics aren't viewable
anymore.

Here's my version of your Hammer John.
I made it at work using two different
Lathes and a mill.
1939 Monarch 16x48
Small south bend lathe
Hurco mill.
The equipment in the repair shop is
Not in very good condition except
for maybe the Monarch and it needs
new chuck jaws.
It ended up having some chatter
Between the handle and the head
because I didn't have a center.
