^I need some of those ear muffs. Can't go wrong with $1.99 and beats the hell out of the ear plugs I've been using which just get dirty and are a pain to put in/out with gloves on.

Does anybody have the canvas shed? The price seems great but I'm wondering if you get what you pay for here?

Mine is the older plastic one as well.. one of the first HF things I picked up.. has to be around 5-6 years old.. I have used it at least 8 times.. I was going to replace it when the next time I need to use it.The HF gage set I have is still going strong. The knobs on mine are aluminum, so they would be fairly hard to break. It has been a pass for me.
Anyone care to comment on any of their hand trucks?
My dad has one of their basic loop handle red hand trucks, I think 600lb capacity. Has been holding up well for probably 8 years or better moving everything from 150-400lbs. Never anything more than 400 though. It has been slid down the tailgate of trucks atleast a few hundred times with a full 30gallon fuel drum strapped to it.

These over the ear protection head phones are good -- especially at only $2.99. Model # 61372.
Thanks for all the hand truck comments.![]()

Got this as a "free with any purchase" coupon deal some time ago, just to try out a headlamp for general auto repair use. I liked it enough that I bought a more expensive, brand name, multi power light. Soon after, I found myself grabbing the cheapie HF light instead of the upscale one. Smaller size, less weight and a simpler power switch won out over the availability of much more lumens than I actually needed in a lit garage. I'll save the other one for outdoor or power-failure emergencies.

Why is this a pass? Your post makes it sound like it's a great lamp.
Pass or fail.. Pass means a passing grade. Why is this a pass? Your post makes it sound like it's a great lamp.
Boy this thread has sure slowed down

I guess the old style "compare to" price gimmicks worked that well.![]()
I bought the end nippers for pulling nails out of our hardwood floor carpet tacking strips. Definitely a pass.

Hand truck item#62775 PASS
I've had this hand truck since December 2002. It's been a back saver. The tires need airing up from sitting but have never let me down.

FAIL:
Car moving dollies. I bought these in a pinch on a saturday afternoon for a project on sunday (I should know better).
Two of the acorn nuts stripped on the bolts., The casters will flex the plate and hit the carry handle also. Under weight the caster will also hit the v where the tire sits.
We were moving a race car with no motor installed. 1,500lbs tops.
I welded one of the studs to the plate just to get the car moved.

I just bought the strap wrench set. Big fail, broke on first use. Disappointing. Got the job done with the hf pipe wrench though.

No need for an apology; it was a "Big" fail!
