I have the red Goodyear 3/8 air hose and it's already dry rotted after almost a year in my building. I have only used it a few times.

Yes it is.Ironic considering that the Goodyear hoses are one of the few US-made items HF carries.

Has anyone had any experience with the Arcsafe welding helmet from HF?
They have a $119 coupon for it. I understand they give great clarity.
No, just a flip out hook, on each end.
I bought one a couple months ago. Its a big improvement over their $35 auto-dark helmet. I used that one for years. I'm very pleased with the new one. Much better visibility and clarity, and it has a replaceable battery. I added a light to mine, just to help my aging eyes.
I like the light, I have aging eyes to and would to have one of them. Where did you find it?
True, but Continental bought Goodyear Engineered Products in May 2015 IIRC. Yes they are still made in the same plant in Ohio, but a Goodyear branded hose is over two years old at best.
Just found this thread from 2014 complaining about the red hoses not lasting nearly as long as the black hoses (and says HF stopped the black hoses carrying several years before that)... seems to have been some kind of systemic problem with the red variety, not just time on the shelf.

That was a good Idea...........!!Harbor Freight $3.99 Its a LED headband mounted lamp that uses AAA batteries. I just took it off the elastic and attached it to the helmet.

might just have to get me one of those when I get caught up.Yep, the red light turns green when it's fully charged. I do remember reading a warning about not leaving it plugged in too long after the light goes green.
I used mine last night under the hood of my daughter's Honda Fit. Even in a little car you can fit it just about anywhere you need light. Only change I'm going to do is cut a small steel square to stick to the magnet so that it doesn't roll when it's on the floor shining upwards.

My cushioned creeper with inclining head rest has bitten the dust. HF Gave me this one after my second plastic creeper broke. It went in the trash and I ordered a lisle jeepers creeper

Blue poly Tarp - FAIL
Just a little too thin to last longer outside than a few weeks. Got a couple for nothing and they were trash by the end of the first use. Don't plan on counting on one when you need it, just use it for light stuff if you happen to snag one on one of the free with purchase deals.
Yeah, I heard years ago that the blue HF tarps are not designed to hold up outdoors (any dimensions, not just the free sizes - plural because the free size was originally bigger than the current free size, btw), but one of their other types/colors of tarps does better for that kind of use. Would have to go back through the reviews on their site to figure out again which are the heavier-duty type.
I've had one of their silver tarps in a large size for a while. I don't use it much but when I do it's beat on. Lots of time using it as a base for wood pills (I.e. Throw wood from a distance to land on the tarp).I believe silver or brown are commonly known to be tougher tarps generally speaking, but with HF you never know...
Digital angle finder - PASS
I have 2 of them now and they have been invaluable in helping with fab projects such as the gutter-mount roof bars I built and the cage-rack I build for my trailer. Well worth the buy.

Would this work for leveling cabinets etc. on the wall or is the footprint too small?
Pittsburg vise-grip clamp PN#39535 or 60820 (can't tell which because all the info is the same on the website) - FAIL

I think the footprint would be to small. Use a good level for hanging cabinets.
May just be different use or expectations - all three of these are PASS in my experience.
Paint guns especially work pretty well.
