The one in my post comes with battery terminal clips aka the nasty alligator clips that like to bite your fingers. LMAO! You're right, those 35s are pretty stout tires for a 12v comp. I'm surprised you don't have on board air. My off road vehicles had on board air using a York engine driven compressor with the clutch rigged to a 135 psi switch mounted in the 10 gallon frame mounted air tank(s). My off pavement activities has been done for a while now. I'm not sure if it can be done on new rigs. Room and belt routing being the two major issues. The Vairs I mention were used in my low riders.
The dealer added the bigger tires. Funny thing is that I didn't even notice them until I had it for a few days. It was late and getting dark and the next morning I took off before sunup on a 500 mile trip. I bought it just to have a truck for when I needed to move things around and for something to get through the snow (if it got deep). Turned out I carried almost nothing in the bed over the years I had it and it only snowed enough to really need it once.
I bought the big HF 12v compressor for the reason in my post and to have incase I had slow leak away from home. Not long after that I learned I could get way more money for than I thought for it and I sold it to Carmax for 4K less than I paid for it after 4 years and 22,000 miles. Carmax had it listed for 2K more than I paid for it and they sold it. I'll get another truck when this craziness dies down and prices return to normal.

Item # 63955/ 92955 tire pressure gauge with flex hose. FAIL
Got this a few years ago and hung on the wall by my tire machine, so not used frequently.
Today, I was mounting a tire and grabbed the gauge. First thing I noticed was that the flex hose was as stiff as a wedding- well, you all know. It just crumbled and broke off from the swivel mount.
My advice, spend the $ on a name brand- Longacre, etc.

The US General Full Bank Service Cart is a great big PASS if it meets your needs. Quality-wise it's on par with the 56" and 72" roller cabinets. Drawers are solid and smooth even loaded with tools. The freight packaging is pretty good, it comes on its own little pallet and inside the box is some sturdy styrofoam down all the sides and on all the corners. Not enough to survive a fall off the truck, but enough to handle normal freight jostling. I'm very happy with mine. I was torn between the full bank cart and the full 26" stack. I'm glad I went the route I did, the fewer taller drawers works well for me and I can stash it right under the breaker box in my garage.

I agree. I'm really happy with mine! I was working in a bit of a tight space, and the 44" USG cab would have been a push for the spot I have, so I went Full Bank. Easy to recommend.

The HFT wheel dollies #60343 worked great for me. I used four of them on a 3500 lbs vintage Chevy 3-dr station wagon which was sitting on 4 flat tires, and after installing the dollies, I was able to easily push the car in any direction I wished. Surface was a concrete floor in good shape. The only thing was the semi-spherical caps on the exposed wheel threads for mounting to the plate; installed, they resemble acorn nuts, were easily dislodged. Either a couple punches to hold them better to the threads, or install real acorn nuts, or use a glob of silicone sealant or liquid nails or something to hold them into place, if you want to keep from losing them. The tires didn't come anywhere-near the threads, I assume the caps are there to prevent any issues with the screw threads and the rubber.

I'm thinking of waiting to get the sale price on another box of dollies, and to use them to make roller stands for a TH400 ****** and a 327 Chevy engine, until the parts are ready to be re-installed. Current price is two for $60 and through Thu 11/18/21 is $5 off for $50+ purchases. Given the FL taxation, that saves you a tax mordita.

How are the latches holding up for you guys? Do the rattle when you open/close the drawers? I was considering buying one last weekend, but couldn't get past how beat up and noisy the latches on the display unit were. I couldn't tell if it was the result of being abused in-store, or if that's just their nature.

Not sure I've posted here or not yet but I use the Braun worklight all the time. I bought one for a friend upon his request after we used mine in a night run offroad fixing and rescuing rigs. Sku57187

I haven't really looked at them, but they seem to work and feel fine. I don't miss the 5-drawer-style latches at all.

I was doing a bit of stuff over the weekend and was in and out of it a fair bit. Definitely confirmed my decision - was great/seamless.

Just went into my local HF for a 3/8 arbor hole saw bit and saw the new Doyle vises. It looks like they took the 51888 craftsman and cloned it. Also had one that looked like a wilton mechanics series. was impressed.

The masonry trowel set has the typical "cheap" workmanship on the handle and rough finish. However, all trowels seem sturdy and should work just fine. One USA made Marshalltown 6x2 margin trowel (the rectangular shaped one) cost $18.50 at Home depot. I paid $7 for the whole set, essentially less than 1/10 of USA made trowels. I'd give the set a "PASS"

The Quinn putty knife set is better than I expected. The finishing quality is better than USA made Warner brand from Lowes. At $7 a set (even at regular price $12), I'd rate this set "PASS ++"

You must be a mind reader. I'm going to need both of those very soon. Thanks.

I bought THIS HF 4 foot hanging LED light for my workbench. 5000 lumens. It's really bright! Hung it over my bench a four or five months ago.

The pull string broke last week. No way to turn it on/off. I ended up hardwiring around the switch, and using the plug in to turn it on/off.

I have a bunch of the various sizes of their Braun shop lights and so far I really like them. They are all on switched power so I never use the built in pull cord switches

Picked up this to reset Highlander CE light on a recent road trip. Nice little color unit, also read the ABS codes on my old Silverado, something the earlier HF models' were unable to do. Not a big screen if that needed. Nice price. PASS.

Purchased to take on fishing trip but now use to take the puppy out to poop at night. lights about 30' radius okay but not going to be blinding light running off batteries. Solidly built. PASS

Gas Auger - HUGE PASS! this thing is great. Much cheaper than renting one, and it has a ton of power

I have one myself and I agree. I have used mine for many post holes for fences, mailboxes, and currently a 8'x 16' lean to add on to my 12' x 16' workshop. I have followed the directions and used the mixing bottle as directed. It has never failed to start by the third pull and doesn't smoke at all, which surprised me with the 25:1 mix ratio.

I have found myself buying more and more HF tools lately... Just setup a small Veto bag with HF screwdrivers and pliers, and a few other things. Plan to put it through its paces and really put to use, see how it holds up against Witte and Knipex.

This little Predator engine is a PASS.

When the Briggs engine this yard vac came with grenaded, I repowered it with this Predator. Had to adapt some controls, and needed a sleeve to adapt the engine shaft to the chipper blade assembly.

it has run through a few fall yard cleanups without a complaint. Starts on the first or second yank every time.
