So I'm trying to write down the address for a local sale and the desk is wobbling making it very difficult. We just recently moved the desk into a new location and I hadn't shimmed it yet. Anyhow, I needed to fix this problem so I could write down the address of the sale and get out there, this is where the Harbor Freight coupon pulls through:

Got the address down legibly thanks to the HF coupon so I could go out and get some quality USA made tools (sorry, crappy quick pics, in a hurry and the garage is currently a bit packed), the haul:

Toolbox is full of goodies but I forgot to take pics.

Funny thing is I never asked to be on their mailing list and those 20% off coupons come in everything around here, I must get 4 or 5 a week.

And I'll be sure to change out that HF coupon today before the cheap ink stains the floor.

It looks like a chain breaker.

A chain breaker it is, the other one I actually picked up yesterday and I almost didn't pick this one up because of that. Then I figured I should get since it was only a buck. When I picked it up and saw the Harley Davidson on it I figure it came out of an old tool kit? and would be nice to get, might have some value. Worst comes to worst I sure I can always get a buck for it or it could be the start of a new collection of old motorcycle tool, I do have an old Indian wrench.

Dude you need to do whatever it takes to stay fresh - that much is for sure, brocheskisaurusrex.

Just got off a conference call with P Diddy, Snoopy Dog and 50 cent (pronounced fitty cent) and I think we've come up with something with a whole new flava (that means flavor) for my next haul, I'll coordinate with you prior to posting to see if it's to your liking.

Anyone else tired of these postings?

You know what I do when I'm tired of something, I stop looking, works for me, give it a try.

Nice score!

Strange how the CRAFT ratchet looks S-K and its stamped with SK's ratchet number. I wonder if they left out the PENN. Or maybe it was Mr. Crafts?

I believe it's an ultra rare and highly valuable Craft ratchet, very hard to find.

I can't find anything on the Craft thing but maybe it was a Penncraft error ratchet making it even more rare and valuable. Did the Penncraft ratchets have the S-K part numbers on them?

Stay out? Why? I am interested in a 20% coupon because I am considering buying an HF 44" chest. Sue me for coming in here foolishly :dunno:

The first time was funny, the second time was eh, the 9th time now is just irritating especially after thinking this thread was about a 20% off coupon that was actually in use.

Ok.. Youve been here since 2010 and you dont know where Mickey is going in these Threads? I also buy very little from HF and i know you cant use 20% coupons on Toolboxes..

Really? Oh i see you Edited your Thread, You where Really Serious? Oh My..

Well So im Not being accused of not Being Helpfull, You cant use the 20% coupons on Toolboxes or Hydraulic Jacks + Other items. These Restrictions can be found on the Actual Coupon, The Best Prices on Toolboxes can be found using the "Super Coupons" that show up in the Weekly Flyers.

I didn't know that - I don't memorize coupon rules my mistake. Yes I have been on since 2010 and have 300 posts. Most of them are in the past 3 - 6 months. I don't know Mickey and even if I did I read thread titles because that's what they're there for.

What a great post, I always get a kick out of them!

Where do you score such great stuff? The estate sales and garage sales that I have gone to have had broken screwdrivers and brooms in the garages.

I like these threads because even though I own a fair bit of harbor freight stuff I love the 'bag on HF' humor. That doesn't mean they still don't hurt my feelings though. I almost never score stuff like that around where I live.

I would be super happy with just the arbor press, puller set, and old-school craftsman socket/ratchet set.

Micky you never post how much you paid for your hauls, I assume is because you resell all or most of the stuff. Im really just curious how much you spend in a month or say year on used tools. Im thinking it must be a large number or alot of people just dont know what they have. As always a great haul. And o enjoy the hf bashing.

Why did he pick up that dingy old Craftsman wrench rack that several people picked up and put back down?

And for those that have been over here and think it's a picture of the nice one I already have a pic of the one I just picked up with the one I have in the background. After a few minutes spent cleaning it up (bit more work and it'll be real nice):

I had an HF coupon save my *** the other day too! Found it in the nick of time in a possibly tragic situation! I was in my truck and needed to spit out my gum so I reached in my console and a HF coupon worked great!

Is that right.

Occasionally I post what I pay for something but for the most part I don't, had a problem with selling something and an ******* referencing where I posted what I paid for it online (as if that's a factor in what he pays) so I stopped doing it. I can tell you I get a far better deal than you can get a comparable at Harbor freight. I definitely don't resell most of what I buy. I do buy some stuff to sell to offset the cost of my tool habit and I sell some things when I find a nicer version of the same one or upgrade. Sometimes I make a good buck selling something, other times I learn a hard lesson. My monthly/yearly tool bill? I have no idea but only a fool would write it down somewhere where the enemy (the old lady) could find it.

I've been thinking about that myself. I just might start a new post for every HF tool I buy.
