From left to right, it's Klein Lineman knife, Knipex mini bolt cutter, Stanley (USA) Flathead, Knipex Lineman pliers, 10" Knipex Alligators, 8" Knipex diagonals.

I think the pocket the lineman pliers are in, is suppose to be for a folding wooden ruler. The hook I think is intended for a lineman knife (can't imagine having an open blade rubbing against my leg), but I've seen pictures of people using it to hang an adjustable wrench from also. The knife holster is also a Klein, the other one I believe I just got from Sears to hold the bolt cutter when I bought them.

Cool, thanks for the pic. I made my own goo a while back. I melted some beeswax in a jar in a pan of water. I poured in about 60% neatsfoot and added some coconut oil we had in the pantry for fun. It's between a 'barely' and a 'somewhat' stiff mixture in the jar but it liquifies well when working it in. You can make it runnier with more % neatsfoot oil. Added treat: rub it in with your fingers then work it into your hands afterwards.

Well this needs to be posted in here...

How to loosen up your new Klein pliers.

I see Klein also has a limited edition "fallen lineman" pliers, only 2700 made.

I think this is an old Kleinfound it wedged under a hood in a parts yard!b5c0ab1ebb8aedcaa63f4bb542c5a92b.jpg2744fdb9488b47edb2ba597d2d986f05.jpg

Just added these to my extensive Klein plier collection. These are awesome the best of this type of tool in my opinion. The trouble with most multi type tools is they don't do any of the functions well. They just kinda do them. These do all the functions well. A very well thought out tool. I also have the Snap On crimper/stripper combo(pscw-7 I think is the model) and for what I am doing these are superior.

I looked at the Rapi-Driver int he Klein catalogue.. it is supposed to be that shape.. interesting..... Never really used one much.. probably should try, heck might like it.. :)

I thought about picking one of those up, but I pretty much always have a drill and impact on me, which are faster for those super long screws.

Here is a Klein 5164 pouch my mom picked up for me at a flea market. I don't know if the belt is original. This thing definitely needs some neatsfoot oil or something as it's rock hard.

Really liking these D203-8ncr pliers. Only used them a couple of times but I did deliberately try to bend the tips with more force than a new pair of Channelock thin nose I mentioned bending in another thread.

It was probably made by Bridgeport Hardware.
A nice driver either way.

My mom found these in the road. IIRC the pat pending label

Klein 261-6c
Cuts the wire, grips onto the cut end, and remains closed. Can reach in through a3/8" hole.

If I'm not mistaken, these are 'relay pliers' designed for adjusting or disassembling relays. (The thin jaws can get between pairs of contacts). I have some old British ones dating to the 60's that look very similar, and they are still made, by VBW to name one maker!

Actually very useful tools if you do any sort of assembly work with small parts - useful on everything from Carbs to trigger mech's!

Just saw on the Albany New York Craigslist, a Klein Cable splitting knife. It was priced a little high at 35.00 and really only good for splitting lead. I don't think it's far from me if one of you guys wants it.

I just picked one of these up online for my boss as a bday gift.
Strangely enough, they are only $7.50 at HD, which beats everywhere else by a couple bucks, and they're shipping it to my local store for free.

98002BT is the part #, and made in USA.

Good morning all..

Yeah, I've seen HD come in quite a bit cheaper than most.. volume I suppose. Good to have someone who consistently has their inventory in stock and dedicates some space to them. I'm guessing its good business for them as well. I've done the ship to store as well, always impressed with their service and speed.

Here is my new Journeyman coffee cup next to a every day / normal sized one. I have the Apprentice version at work.. will snap a picture of it too when I get there.. and share. Below is my multi bit screwdriver I've had for several years in my "upstairs" tool drawer.. pliers, tape measure, small hammer...

Does anyone know if there is a Coffee Cup thread here on the GJ.. might be interesting to see what everyone is using (or how many of us are coffee nuts),,

Purchased some decals, used my circle cutter to make some round magnets..

I love that notepad.. one in my job box and another in my garage workshop...
