Several people have asked to see the latest deals. This should be available on your dealers truck.

Actually, this is a buy two, get one free.

Part number: RATHLF80

Buy the SHLF80 and the THLF72 and get the FHLF80 for free.

Full price if purchased seperately $428.00. Promo price $301.

As far as deals go, is this a good deal through SO or are there better ones occasionally?

This one works out to about 30% off. Some of the other socket deals are in the neighborhood of 40% off of list price.

I guess I should have more clear: do these ratchets end up being cheaper at other times of the year?

By themselves, probably not. They may be packaged as part of a set later in the year a bigger discount later in the year but I have not seen anything with these ratchets coming in the future.

That's a good deal Chadster. Too bad I have the same set with standard handles.

My question tho is I have that same soft-grip set in non-flex head and my 3/8" drive handle has become pretty chewed up at the most bottom point from catching on objects and sharp edges. Are those rubber/plastic handles replaceable?

$253.15 to be exact.

So the guy I was talking to said he will sell me the short 3/8 sockets in that set for 85? Would that be a deal, as I am a little broke right now and can't afford the whole set.

I was on the snap on web site today, buy a 1/2" drive deep metric set, and get the shallow set, and a s80 free!!! That is $300 off.

That set might get hard to get because I heard it was selling really well. If you are going to do it, make sure you get it soon before they are gone.

is this BOGO set price valid if i trade in 2 snap on ratchets for a reduced cost of the set?

i would consider if i could trade in some oldies towards purchase of this newer set

Does anyone know if I should take that deal for 85, the short 3/8 impact sockets out of the bogo set for 253, but 85 for just the short sockets and he keeps the deep.

If snap on would just advertise all of the bogo's on the site and let people buy them this wouldn't be an issue. They could really up the sales by letting people see the great deals and actually being able to buy them no matter where they are and or where they live. I guess since I don't make billions I can't understand the logic behind not sharing the sales beyond the truck...

You dont need billions. Snap-On's distribution model for its truck brand tools is primarily via the truck, hence exclusive deals to said primary outlet for purchasing.

To everyone: as much as I would like to sell some of these tools to the members here, my franchise contract does not permit me to sell over the Internet. All orders have to to be processed thru my website. If you want to register, you can go here to set up an account. https://buy1.snapon.com/NewUser/newuser.asp?g=15207

Can we actually get truck deals from this? or is it just normal snapon.com pricing?

This is what is so frustrating about SO. Many times I go on the truck just so I can get a hold of the monthly sales flyer. Why can't they share this stuff on the website and just say that it's only valid through your local dealer?
