Just dropped in to have a look. You have done well with some really good scores. I like your style, keep going.
It's the first time I see your thread, but I love the way you write. Just like the one who inspired you, Jack Olsen (who is actually a writer). Well done on the workshop! You made your dad very proud, I assume.
My mother just visited SA, but it's still on my wish list.
...Its been a Long time with no updates... But I have been Exploring the GJ for gathering my ideas. Need to actually sit down organise the pics and Post the updates now. Had a son during my hiatus so as a young father of two working two jobs its been a busy time. It ***** to only get an hour or 3 in the shop once a week/month when I manage to... My time management is horrible...
All in all I lost 300 Rands (google it to your currency dammit...
) on the Iron Giant but was super happy to finally be able, to better cut Steel. Before I'd been stuck with a selection of 115 disc capacity grinders... Fun on anything bigger than 60mm diameter...
This is a bit better:

Seems to work all around the world.Excellent progress!
Knyte, just read your thread, looking good, nice to see how you are using the space and being efficient. But really: no time to clock your screws? You know that can get you kicked off GJ right ;-)
Cheers
David
Much Appreciated. Still so much to do...That turned out great! Nice work!
Knyte, I've just read through your thread and in my usual fashion, although I've visit here before, I find that I have made no comment. That's a big accomplishment you've made from the beginning. Your place is just fantastic. I had to laugh at your statement of "help-from-friends-with -the -promise-of-beer"Seems to work all around the world.

Hey Knyte, I'm just finding this thread now. You're doing a nice job making it your own.
What a great space. Keep up the great work.
Also, it's nice to see that no matter where you are in the world, if you have a work space you're all dealing with the same issues of balancing space, clutter and organization.
