That is the YC-14... like me, she doesn't look quite as perky as she did 40 years ago.
In the foreground is a Shorts Skyvan - or one of it's variants. It was used by commuter airlines in the 1980's (apparently also the military) and one of the guys in my new-hire class had flown it prior to being hired at Delta. He was asked if the Shorts flew as bad as it looked. "No", he replied, "but it taxies as bad as it looks."

On an aviation note, I saw this pic on another board from a member that was out at the plane boneyard. I believe its the same one in your avatar.
