I have a larger galvanized pan. Probably from Napa, late 90s. And this Hazet I thought would be nice for the spout and platform. And a bucket from Azone w/ spout.

Magnetic sockets are my favorite addition to oil R&R in the last 10? yrs. And I still don't love any filter socket/tool for 5.3 truck changes.

Real men don't need effete homeowner diy stuff like summa those pans up there.
Nah, real men just pull the drain plug at the beginning of the gravel driveway and let the oil drain for dust control. If they time it right, they pull up in front of the garage just before the engine seizes.

My favorite ever was the Rubbermaid that they discontinued decades ago...

But honestly if the one you had was working, grab another and continue on!
I have the exact same one also! Although the lid on my is yellow. I have had it for at least 30 years. I love the little stud on the inside where you put the old oil filter on it to drain into the pan without the filter falling over.

As someone else with one of these mentioned, the lid on mine also doesn't want to screw down very easily anymore and it takes few tries to get it on. Most of the time I just rest the lid on top so **** in the garage does not get into the pan when I am not using it.

Yes! My lid does not screw on too well either, so I place it on and push down a few corners until it clicks. Enough to stay on until the next time where I wrestle it a bit to spin off. It’s been like that for years, still love it!
