Jay,I’ll take it whatever color it is if it makes less work for my back. That tub skid looks like the ones they used at Boeing, good storage for your metal shorts.

I really miss Boeing Surplus; that used to be one of my first stops whenever I visited Seattle. They got rid of a lot of perfectly usable stuff- and even sharpened the drill bits and end mills before putting them out for saleI’ll take it whatever color it is if it makes less work for my back. That tub skid looks like the ones they used at Boeing, good storage for your metal shorts.

always kinda regretted not picking up a nose landing gear set up for a 747 when I had the chance![]()

I like the silver and copper one.Mepps and daredevils..
Takes me back a few decades.
On the right, dark sweater. Cousin Bill with me. Both our families (2 moms and 7 kids) spent our entire summers in a cabin in the woods on a trout stream in Bushkill, PA. Dads would drop both families right after school let out on Long Island, then commute on weekends. Fishing poles and BB guns, we'd be gone from dawn to dusk.Which one is you, John?
That sound like the ideal American upbringing! On the right, dark sweater. Cousin Bill with me. It was great. Spent the whole summer that way for about 7-8 years, until I had summer jobs, football practices, etc.. And I always realized how special it was. Great memories. The family sold the place a few years after I graduated from high school, but not before Bill and I had a monster "cabin party" with about 50 of our friends from both of our towns. Had to show everyone that all the stories were true. That sound like the ideal American upbringing!
Going to be a great place to store my Encyclopedia Brittanica full set that I bought from a traveling salesman back in 1973That bookcase is really looking good, Riv!
I guess I’ll add it to the free pile going to the goodwill/dumpCrickets, that’s all I’m hearing is crickets.

A good sign that there are fewer smokers ?I guess I’ll add it to the free pile going to the goodwill/dump
Great!I'll take it
I’m thinking this one will have horse stall matt.I like the look Riv, what are you using for a top? The same flooring?
Jay
Wish I was closer, Riv. I have a bunch of 1/4”+ thick Kevlar/Unobtanium reinforced rubber sheets that were cut out of military aircraft fuel bladders. Designed to take anti aircraft fire. You could beat on them for the rest of your life and not wear them out.I’m thinking this one will have horse stall matt.
just need to find a cheap source

I’ve had 2’ rubber floor tiles on my workbench for years. I like how it gives a non-marring surface.I’m setting up a workbench at the moment and was looking at putting a black ribbed rubber matting on the top. I was going to turn it over and use the smooth side. It was used a lot at Boeing on work tables and it makes a nice topper.
I am just using a solid core door I got for free on CL. The mat is available online.
