I see some rust on a few things ... if you're not careful, people might think you actually use them.

Can't say I've seen a nutsert at CT before.
That nutsert is actually PA.

Haha, keeping the rust down on some tools is a battle,WD-40 is my friend.I take care of my tools.

It's also winter here now,and every vehicle on my street looks like its driven in the winter.
Except mine...

I own a rona and my only rules @CT are :
Can't be sold at rona (obviously)
Must be on sale

So basically anything mastercraft (wrenches mostly) on sale, I got. Will post pics this weekend, it's not very impressive (to the snap on folks) but hey, I work on my 2009 911 with Mc tools and everything went well so far!

Pretty heavy on the knurling!

How much CT money do you have now??

Haha
I'm down at $2.17 i believe now in CT money (or CT points on my CT points card)
I usually let it build up for about 6 months-1 year then use it.
I also try to fuel up at as many CT fuel stations as possible to get more CT points.

Nice.Got a CT points card/CT money card yet?
Pretty much the modern CT money, but in a card and you get more CT points/CT money per purchase.
If not, just ask for one at their customer service desk, fill out the form and get your card.Just swipe it with every CT purchase and the CT points/CT money gets put on your CT points/money card.

All the info here http://www.canadiantire.ca/en/my-canadian-tire-money.html

Seen that on sale the other day at my store, kinda looked a bit gimmicky but might be handy

Yeah,possibly.
I think your really paying for the sockets and extension here. The ratchet is really just a bonus, still very nice.
The sockets are finished beautifully and are more versatile then your standard socket.I guess you could call them 'luxury' sockets.
I'm happy with it/them.

Have your tried out that MC MX screw driver/driving bits you recently picked up?

CT mastercard anyone??
I use it for all purchases everywhere, and pay it off at the end of the month.

Does anyone know what percentage of CT money is given with each transaction? I've never been able to figure it out, it doesn't state it anywhere on the website (that I can see) and I have never asked.

Yup, I used the precision driver set, no complaints on quality of the bits or the driver.... Can't beat it for the price

I believe it's just a half a percent now. Back when I was a kid, it was 5% around here.

I paid $30 for that socket set. Never used it yet.

Nice.
My brother brought his VW Jetta over this afternoon (with half the front bumper hanging off/engine shield/shroud hanging off from clipping a nasty snow bank)

I used that new 3/8 MC MX ratchet that came in that set and a few MC torx bit sockets to fix it,works good.

Excuse my ignorance. I'm familiar with HD, NT, HF and plenty others, but what is CT?

Google was my friend. So Canadian Tire it is! Normally I would say that my geophysical location down south in the lower 48 contributed to my cluelessness, but... Nice set of tools BTW.

I'll be buying those Maximum impact bolt removers.. I never knew they existed until this forum.. And I missed the sale a few weeks back.
They are on my Sales alert on Ct.ca

Other than that I am not sure.. I should complete the sets of wrenches that I have started, ratcheting, etc...

But I prefer to wait for sales if I can.
