Why?
This is GJ and you ask that?
I have three fuel impact m12s... Just because..
Why?
Nah, just don't like when people push the most expensive brands on earth to college kids likely taking out student loans to buy said tools. We can't all sell marked up seal kits online, but yes - happy holidays.
Anyways..
If all my santas deliver this year, I THINK the string trimmer, blower, cooler, heat gun, pick and hook set, and MAYBE the Packout system MIGHT show up.. ya know, all red for the holiday season this year. I have a sneaking suspension a Mossberg Shockwave might make an appearance too.. (as if I needed more guns)
I don’t wish to argue, but the same scenario can be said for just about every retail situation out there, Credit makes people do crazy things. I’m in no way shape or form trying to justify SO costs, I bought and sold enough tools to acquire my personal collection at a fraction of New price. If I woke up tomorrow and fell into a full time mechanic job, I probably wouldn’t step foot on any of the Tool trucks. With that said.... I’ve been listening to the grumbling from members saying the Tool truck is a outdated concept every since I joined, those stories appear to have had too much personal bias, versus real life insider information.
Hahaha seriously...as if you need to justify anything here. Why? Why the heck not! This is GJ and you ask that?

I can see why there is 595 pages of addiction...
I started out with the M12 fuel 3/8 impact and after using it the other day, I decided to go ahead and grab the Milwaukee 2767-22 M18 1/2" impact during the eBay 10% promo and 10% eBay bucks promotion.
It's a slippery slope...
I agree, started out with the 1st generation high torque impact and now I have 5 M18 Fuel impact wrenches. Just picked up the 1/2 mid torque
On next years wish list is the M18 Fuel Deep Cut Band Saw
Does anyone have the transfer pump yet? Looking for something to pump out used hydraulic oil.
Hiball, you should be fine with the 5.0's. The batteries surprisingly last a long time on the impacts. I just use a 4.0 on the 3/4" Fuel impact
Have a LED work light and man those use up the battery charge quickly. Have 5.0's and should be using a 9.0
Thanks for the info, I figured the light would be pretty efficient being LED, then again I don't what model or size we're talking about, Good to know about battery size and impacts.
2360-20 puts out 3000 lumens and you can plug it into regular 110 AC

That smaller m18 fuel sds plus rotary hammer drilled a 7/8" hole through a 17" thick wall today.. took a whole 3.0 battery to do it, but that's definitely the thickest wall I've encountered so far..
I got my M12 soldering gun kit in today from Acme Tools. Seems pretty nice and I can’t wait to use it. I ordered it on the 14th and got it today (said it wasn’t suppose to ship until the 20th)
Got my light from CPO was not happy with the packing . The light was almost out of the box and no tape just staplels holding it together

I've used the solder iron twice now works just fine in my estimation considering the portability. Joining two 12 gauge wires took a bit more time to heat up than my Hexacon the bench unit on full dial is rated 100 degrees higher @ 850F solder flowed fine though and didn't melt any insulation either
I also used the large flat chisel point it came though might suggest a slightly narrower one like I have on my bench unit. Those are mostly what ever used in electronics factory Still it comes up to temp quick enough IMO.
Just checked my box of tips for the bench unit they are a smaller inner diameter and wont fit the Milwaukee.![]()
Agree long time cooling down...and although it didn't roll around on me I'll repeat what I said before should have some type of cradle stand to hold it.
Better be careful putting back in that hard storage box
The tool should also have had a molded in storage slot to store a second tip
I am not going find major fault with solder iron or the heat gun for my purposes and application though the heat gun overall is a bit disappointing with the lack of features such as lock on button and variable heat setting. Goes thru batteries pretty quick too.![]()
CPO has the 2758-22CT M18 Fuel One Key 3/8 impact kit with two 2.0s for $212 after discounts, not bad considering bare tool is $209.
i wonder if One Key is a failure. the local HD has piles of keys lying around. i have heard discussions here of the OK tools going on unusual sales . . . . .
does anyone here use it? i bought two or three of the keys when they were on sale for 10$ each, and while they are OK, the restrictions (the app needs to be running on your device all the time, you need outside connection all the time) didnt leave me with any obvious uses . . . .
I believe you're referring to the Ticks rather than the OneKey versions of Fuel models.
How is the size and weight compared to a corded iron? I've been considering one for portable work but I typically use a butane iron and I don't know if I'd want something that much bigger or heavier.
