That sounds familiar... Did you get all those tools on clearance pricing?
everything but the m12 stick light, which i just decided to keep.. all the stuff that was on clearence has been marked down to 0.01 so there is no more price matching and its not worth hassle and time IMO to debate over it with every store since the things wont even ring up at a convincing price.. last thing i managed was the grinder - that went down to a penny that day. after the cashier did the return, and then tried to ring up again and saw it ring up as penny - the manager tried to tell me hes was keeping it - which i said "so your confiscating a purchase i made?" and then he said he was going to void the return, and re-charge my debit card - to which i replied - so your gonna stand in front of me and re-charge a card im not giving you, without my permission? - should i call your boss or my bank, you tell me. i said i didnt expect anything for a penny - and was more than willing to pay whatever the previous clearance price was - which is what he wound up doing..... so in total it was about $500 in tools for like $125 give or take.... i have 3 items left im just returning to the store i purchased them at - an impact that smoked out of the box, the m12 bandsaw, and a sander... none of which i really wanted anyway.. the m12 stick light is really nice, so im just kepping that at full retail.
honestly ive spent so much money on Milwaukee stuff over the last year i dont even wanna think about it, and ive renently bought about 4 or 5 different sets of lineman pliers and diagonal cutters to experiment with at work, from the cheapest premium brand to the most expensive (nws branded irwins, about $100 for the pair). combine that with leather tool pouches, dewalt wrench sets, a 70" 4k tv, and a new husqvarna leaf blower i just bought today..... honestly i need a break from this place..
all i know is my cat is happy he has so many empty boxes to hide in and ambush the dog..
