Not at all if you want to piece it out. If you don't have the offerup app I suggest it as well for local deals.

I was thinking of getting a 7 or 9 piece 18v Fuel Combo and adding the BIG impact. Sounds like I might need to add a BIG(High Output) battery as well.

I'm looking for the "baddest" 1/2" Cordless impact

would this be it?

https://www.milwaukeetool.com/Products/Power-Tools/Fastening/Impact-Wrenches/2767-22

It has XC batteries. I'm not familiar with Milwaukee, so this is all new to me here.

That’s the one.

The high demand and high output batteries in the toolguyd thread don’t necessarily buy you more power than an XC 5.0 battery in this tool. Those other batteries can deliver more current for power hungry tools like a table saw or 7 1/4” circ saw. But this high torque impact wrench probably delivers the same power with those newer batteries.

Think it could break the crank bolt loose on my Land Cruiser?

Don't know about a Land Cruiser crank bolt. Guy came in the shop with a brush cutter blade that the forging broke and he needed the bolt removed. Took an 1-11/16 socket for the nut so likely an 1-1/8" bolt? The 2767 wouldn't touch it, didn't budge after repeated attempts with a fully charged 9.0 battery.

Put a SnapOn PT1800 on and that buzzed it right off.

Milwaukee does make 3/4" and 1" drive M18 cordless impacts with more power than the 2767 if you're looking for the most power regardless of drive size.

Was just at HD and they have this sale going, kinda been thinking about getting the 1/2 high torque for at home and the extra battery would be nice so is that a decent deal?

I'm planning on holding out until November hoping there is a promo on them.

Jackets? Maybe with the kit - maybe a free battery of something.. bare tool jackets are usually always like $149 until they hit clearence, and then you’re REALLY rolling the dice on whats left.. colors and sizes nobody really buys. Xl and large are the first sizes to go - thats why those r the display sizes..

My reasoning to get this model - since i have a few older ones - is as follows.
I have a couple hoodies - they arent jacket replacements, and if i have to wear a non heated jacked over a heated hoodie it defeats the purpose in my eyes, and you loose the extra heat zones.

The older soft shells work awesome - but ill admit i am kinda carefull wearing them to not do certain things so they dont get ripped or torn. Its a “walk on eggshell” feeling sometimes. Its not that bad - but I’m careful with them and it does get annoying from time to time.

The 3in1 i have is same issue as above - and for whatever reason those ripstop ironclad whatever you u wanna call em are stiff as all hell and annoying. I dont even wear it, ever.

Same kinda deal was with the first rendition past the soft shell. Too stiff, the arms had like no insulation and were colder to wear than the soft shell.

These finally seem like they got a happy medium, but i wont know till i actually buy & use it. Nice rugged feeling material, but its quiet and flexible. As long as there is decent insulation they should be nice.. something that keeps you warm, doesnt need to be babied at all, and doesnt feel like your wearing a plastic suit.

I always thought the same too. The wrench sounds like it found a new gear with the better batteries though. Granted I've never need more power with it, but the batteries do make a difference.

@2manytools can you add some more detail? Which “old” battery did you use and how old was that battery. And which newer battery did you put on it? Thanks!

I used think the same, that the HD & HO batteries wouldn't make a difference on tools that didn't need high current. Milwaukee guy talks about & you can hear the difference also in this video. Didn't make sense to me & I didn't believe until I tried it for myself. There some black & red voodoo magic going on!

Every size you go up in amp hour contributes to the overall power of the tool. If I snap a 9.0 battery in my compact blower, the tool will just shut off if I go right to full speed. I have to give the blower a soft start and take it up to full speed.

I was just comparing the Gen 2/Surge/G3 M18 1/4 impacts on the bench last night
Unless it's a smaller cavity where the slightly smaller driver would help, I should abstain from the G4 or M18 Surge V2.....

Yeah, report already! :rant::lol_hitti

Nice, I so want one! I'm trying real hard to hold out until the price drops a bit though.

Well indid use it to clean of a gasket and I love the different rpm and variable trigger.really fine tunes better than any air I've used.

I'd say its equal to about a 1/4+ hp or so in air.. but the size is equal to the larger snap on 90 degree die grinders I have. This will excell in fine finishing work for fab and not getting too aggressive with sanding disc.

I would say that 2" flap disk will probably stay in it and die grinders will remain air for now.

Not sure I'd put a carbide burr and get wild with it over 1 hp die grinder with air .

But for what I expected I'd say it does exactly what it should.

Thanks for spending more of my money, lol. Will those work with the non fuel m-12 batteries?

True, but M12 XC battery packs can provide additional power to M12 Fuel tools over the compact ones.

The kit comes with 2.0 compact batteries & Milwaukee's runtime ratings are with a 2.0 battery. I'm planning to only use compact batteries with it, kind of defeats the purpose using XC batteries unless you really need the run time. It's already bulky as it is compared to an air die grinder. As a matter of fact I just picked up another CP3.0 this morning locally from offerup for it.

Thanks for the die grinder review. Will definitely be ordering one now.

Have you ever used the m12 polisher? I’ll be using it in that capacity. Fkn wish they had a fuel version of that

I will add i do use mostly the compact 3.0 batteries . i have at least 6 on my truck. but also have a few tools i use religiously.

all are fuel where applicable.

M12
1/4 ratchet
3/8 ratchet
3" cut off
rotary tool
solder gun
fuel surge 1/4 impact
underhood light
fuel hacksaw
thermal imager (the spendy one)
jacket in black
riveter

m18
2x fuel 4.5 grinders
fuel 1/4 impact
heat gun
right angle drill
impact drill driver
high torque 1/2 impact
fuel 3/8 impact
1 fuel impact
grease gun
m12/m18 bluetooth
flood light
metal saw
fuel band saw and table

are what i can recall

have about the same in the shop including m18 fuel magdrill

i still have all my air tools also on the truck but not sure why, maybe backup.

still use the air for big stuff, scaler, blow gun , pumps, train horn, pinstripe /decal removal, tight area cut off wheels, still needs to gtfo.
