Just out of curiosity , how many of you in this thread are in the building trades in some way ?

Electrical contractor.

Well keep me posted once you use it. I may go buy it. :bounce:

Yeah, it's awesome. A must have, for sure.

I have the M12 led flashlight, and it throws good light. This floodlight illuminates at least 6 times the area, I'd guess. It's a warm white, as opposed to the M12. About equal to a 500w quartz work light, I'd have to guess. It's like daylight out under my truck. Lights up the yard decently. Very happy.

Added: Just outside playing with it again, despite it being 24 degrees, watching the beavers at work. It's like having the sun at your command!

I have the M18 hackzall, impact driver, and hammer drill. I have the M12 fuel screwdriver and 1/4 ratchet on order that should be here Monday. I love Milwaukee's cordless line. I still need to get the 3/8 and 1/2 impact for the collection

So I was going to ask. You hate the 1/2 impact, right? I mean...I did sell my W7150...it couldn't be that bad...

I dont hate any of the 1/2" impacts that I have… The w7150 has slightly more power than the Mil I can tell just slightly.
I prefer to use the Mil over the Ingersoll only cause it impressed me...:D

Just got an email that my M18 Fuel circular saw / 1/2" high torque combo is on backorder until the third week of May, despite having ordered it on Sunday. :(

Don't know if I can go a whole month without my fix!

There was slight sarcasm in my post. :)

:bounce: You buddy are silly for the "sorry for your loss":)

My wallet bit me after my $400 kit...the free reciprocating saw bought me into Mil.

That's where I ordered it, with the free 4.0 battery and charger, but thanks.

I'll just have to make due with what I have for now. :D

Find it in the store...:)

Do you guys actually use your tools? Just kidding.

This one is actually made in in Wisconsin I believe. I know it made in the USA for a fact.

how do you guys feel about the m12 hackzall vs the m18 hackzall is there a big difference in power? i bought a m12 one today. granted i was in a big rush and only used it on a half charge, but the battery didn't seem to last long and it was somewhat struggling to keep cutting through some thin garage door material where it was folded over.

is the m18 a lot more powerful? im feeling like i don't want to get stuck on a bunch of different voltage batteries when one line will do it fine.

The M12 is nice do you have the regular m12 battery, 2.0 or the 4.0 battery?:dunno: They play a big part in the tool you are using. I've tested them all out and the 2.0 gives you more runtime and power , the 4.0 is just crazy and will have your tool running close to an M18.:willy_nil
What are you running?

it was the 2.0 bat. i wouldn't think that having a longer run time battery would cause it to gain power, being the same voltage and draw.

but its too late, ia lready returned it and picked up a combo with the m18 version and it is indeed heavier with a larger motor and cuts much easier.

I am totally addicted to Milwaukee cordless tools. You can't really compare this to a homeowner's collection since it is for my work as well but here it is. I am self employed.

Nice puck up!
I notice that the tool seems to have more power with the different batteries. My M18 1/2" impact fuel is not as strong with the regular M18 none 2.0 battery vs the XC4.0 battery its complete apples and oranges. :dunno::dunno:
