The L-Boxx is really good. I own all M12 cordless tools, but L-Boxxes would be my first pick if I wasn't already started into Festool systainers. They make nice inserts are great if you own the Bosch stuff or can make it for, or cut your own foam.

I actually bought one of the Ridgid boxes a month ago. Right now it has most of my M12 stuff in it, albeit not nice and cushy in foam. I was thinking about creating a double-decker layer of the foam so I could put 2 sets of drills and impacts into it, but not sure.

Even with "just" the M12 stuff in it, it gets real heavy real quick.

How about a few pics of the setup?

Heh, they don't ship the colored ones here unfortunately. Just the regular beige/grey and anthracite.

I'm kinda late to this thread, but I'm a big Milwaukee fan. I still have two corded drills from the 70's that still work just fine. When I started building our house, I bought a set of M18 tools off ebay for much less than I could get them locally. I have the circular saw, SawZall, 1/2" drill, and driver, plus the flashlight, and I have 5 batteries. I've done about 90% of the work on the house with the cordless tools. I just never get out the corded stuff anymore.

I also have a corded circular saw, and a special anniversary edition SawZall that a buddy gave me. It was factory reject that he got at Home Depot for a dollar (he works there). All that was wrong with it was a little detent pin that holds the blade in- I got a new one for a buck!

Anyone have a case for the 1/2 high torque impact wrench (2763,2763,2764) that they are willing to part with?

Saw this in a HD near Toronto a couple weeks ago. I was there the day before they were having some big Milwaukee in-store promotion. This store actually had the largest inventory of Milwaukee stuff I've ever seen in an HD. Been wanting to check out the Milwaukee mitersaw, and they had one on display with the free collapsible, wheeled bench. Pretty impressive piece of equipment.

Picked these up for during AAP coupon (50 off 125), with a few other things. Making them 67 a piece after tax.

Are 1/4 and 3/8 same size ratchets or is picture angled?

I don't think Milwaukee will screw up with this box they do great with there power tools so they won't be cheap with this box.

Heh. That's their core business though. I'd liken this venture more to their hand tools, which are mediocre at best.

Either way, it doesn't matter. People will buy it regardless of quality.

I am sure it will be the same quality as the similar dewalt box but probably a little better and my dewalt one is pretty nice but i think the $700 is a little steep tho might have to wait till a good sale comes maybe father's day or black Friday.

I think it will sell as well. It's pretty flashy and gets the point across. I don't believe it marketed for pro's tho. More so of the home handy hacker.

What kind of air we are breathing? Of course, it's a Milwaukee air :p

Without joking, Milwaukee are great tools and i am very happy with it.
Also Metabo and some Bosch stuff.

Got to play with the electricians pliers today. Not that great, the reaming groove pliers were pretty nice though.

Lol. Stupid HD promo.

How many Dewalt kits did you have to buy to get half of that!? lol I would love to see a comparison of all the lights. I have plenty of batteries in both m12 and m18 platform and am trying to decide do I want a lantern (not sure which one) or the flood light. I have the m12 stick light so I think I'm going to pass on the m18 stick light.

Decided to stop being lazy and take a pic of everything:
If anyone wants any comparison pics, I'd be glad to do that. I think I have all of the lights, including the little m12 LED flashlight thing (it's my mom's, but I can get it), so I can compare those if anyone's interested. Well, I don't have the flood light.

Nice collection of RED that displays the addiction! Probably will get a stick light before the promo ends. HD certainly emptied some wallets as more than a few made the crossover to the RED team. Subscribed for some more pics

Yep pretty good alternative to the m12 speaker system...

Anyone have the fuel 3/8 impact. 2454-22? Thoughts on it

um yes, excellent, I love the 3/8th's anvil, it costs a little more but has better convienience and power.

I'm impressed with the size, weight, and power (200/210 ft-lbs)of the compact 2654/2655 impact wrench. Parked next to the M18 impact driver the similarities become somewhat apparent. The outer shell is similar if not the same but differ in the motor and impacting mechanism. Very light-weight for the power it can produce. Lug nuts should not be an issue nor rusty suspension bolts. Projects coming up when it warms up a bit are struts, shocks and exhaust upgrades.

My local auto parts uses the PEX cutter for heater hose. Really slick.

I just got the precision screwdrivers as I hate the chi-com set I have now. Only thing is it's got 3 flat blades and one Phillips.
