Haha, nice!!
Question for the Milwaukee guys out there..
Has anyone ever stripped the ratcheting part of an M12 ratchet? I went to use mine today and it wouldn't really create any torque, the motor ran but it didn't turn with any decent amount of force.. with an extension on it I could hold the extension still with the ratchet "running"
I've been hard as hell on this thing for over a year now, but figured I'd ask whether it was common or not. I wonder if they'll warranty it

After much weighing of different brands, I have pulled the trigger on this:![]()
It should be here in the next few days. Do we chant or sing hymns now?[emoji1]
I'm sorry for you wait, but it will be worth it! I bought that set (as bare tools) and love it!
I could have went to Home Depot and had it in hand but I saved close to $100 by buying through Amazon. The wait ***** though!
I got that set from an listing CPO had on ebay.. $209 shipped to my house for a refurb set in almost new condition.. They raised the price to $300 the day before i clicked "buy it now" and after 3 emails complaining that they rasied the price $90 before the listing expired, i got them to honor the price.
That set WAS $359 in HD before they raised the price for their $150 off promo around Christmas
it was a great price for what i got, BUT - that was my first milwaukee purchase, and has lead to ALOT more buying since then - so it wound up costing me in the long run..
.Same here..although I bought at the high price during the home depot promo. After the promo and 10% discounts I still only paid about 250 for a brand new set.I got that set from an listing CPO had on ebay.. $209 shipped to my house for a refurb set in almost new condition.. And it lead to a lot more red tools in my basement. I just bought the ridgid rolling cart to put them all in. Was debating the big Milwaukee box but figured it would be way too heavy once filled
Did you get the stackable Ridgid cart?
I keep meaning to actually look at them the next time I'm in HD, but I always forget, and it's too far away to just pop in there for that. They look really nice in the pics I've seen.Sure did!
The recip saw and circ saw fit nicely on the bottom. The included "hand tool" piece that butts up against the back of it actually holds the drill/impact pretty nicely, although there are only 2 holes that fit them and I have 3 (hammer drill, impact wrench, impact driver). I might see if I can mod the existing one or come up with something of my own to fit all 3.
Even with that stuff in there, there is still room above the recip and circ saws....a tray that fits into it would have been nice. Again Im going to see if I can come up with something of my own.
I have the smallest size stackable box for my M12 stuff, but I might upgrade that to the medium size since those items take up a decent amount of room too (and my newly added M12 fuel Hackzall is much bigger than all the other M12 stuff)

I have one that is only a couple weeks old and only used a couple of times. I can hold it with my hand with a socket on it. Mine was weak at first and I figured I wouldnt use it all that much. But I kept pulling it out and using it and it is getting stronger.
Actually starting to like it. Its 3/8 though. Which is sometimes just not what I want it to be and sometimes it is.![]()
I'd love to have one of those miter-saws, but I just can't justify the cash. Maybe if it was something I used more often, then I could justify the expense. I've never seen one in the Home Depot stores here in the states, but I go to Canada about 8-10 times a year, and they always have them in the Home Depots up there. The last time I was up there, was in London Ontario and they had them on sale, and came with a free, portable work stand. I think they were like $799 CAD. so that would have been like... $650 USD.
I should have snagged one then.
Nice set-up.I wouldn't say addiction, but I've got a bit of red in the go to tool pile. I've been pretty impressed with all of the M18 stuff I have. Last year CPO ran a heavy sale on saws and I happen to need a sliding compound miter. Happy I went with this unit, it's been a real pleasure to use.
Here you go boys!
todays catch - i couldnt help myself... gonna use the regular m18 led light as part of a car tool bag, and just leave it in the car - so after alot of thought i decided to replace it with the m18 led stick light.. i feel like its the best compromise of everything else thats available. really happy with it so far (even though im just playing with it)
also - all the hand tools have been marked down in HD.. if you go on the milwaukee site, it looks like they have a new line coming out soon, with just red handles instead of the red/black.. i REALLY like how the red/black looks, so i might start buying them now and just replacing the husky stuff i have in my box at home..
ALSO - HD or milwaukee started another tool deal, with getting a free tool or battery with some purchases in case you guys havent seen.. the m12 stick light is a free tool in the m12 system.. i think im already wanting the small $40 m12 led light now too..

Nice set-up.
Which model is the miter saw and which Rigid stand are you using?
Did you need to make any mods to make them work together?
Thanks for posting the picture.
Yea, because there aren't dozens and dozens of fuel tool pics.Such shots have already been posted here.
How is the quality of there hand tools (pliers/cutters)? They looked pretty solid in store, Taiwan coo if I remember correctly. I may have to pick some up if on sale.
