My local store has 7 in stock. I went in to put hands on it and see if I was interested. They told me it would be a few weeks before they got around to getting them down off the top shelf. WTF? I guess I will head to harbor freight for a 44" set this week.

i love my 44" hf box.. i bought the top, bottom, locker - and i think im might finally get the additional drawer unit too..

My store is bringing in a **** ton of 2691-22 kits. These are brushed M18 drill and impact driver combos. Honestly I'd think my store sells this many Milwaukee drill/impact combos in a year, so I'm guessing there's an upcoming promo. The pic doesn't do it justice, they're 2-deep on that cart and many more on the bottom than are visible. I often notice these stocking carts and I've never seen them bring in so many of 1 item except holidays.

Interestingly, this kit (2691) used to include the 2601 drill and 2650 impact driver. Now the same kit part # has the updated 2606 and 2656. I got the older versions in a recon kit for $140 and really like them.

Maybe whoever got a pic of the paper for the last Milwaukee promo (Sept to Feb) can get a pic of the upcoming one

I really gotta stop going to Home Depot. Pliers were $8, and the tape measure package was reduced to $19. Tonight's haul...

^^huh I'd take the pliers at $8. I'll have to check my store.... didn't show on price checker under clearance today, I know that.

Actually, I stumbled onto them in the plumbing section. They were hanging on one of those rod/hook things, that hang onto the verticals of the warehouse racks. Then the tape measure package was sitting on a shelf with a couple of other ones, and at first, I though the label was wrong because less than twelve feet away was one of the free-standing cardboard display boxes of them that was clearly marked $24.

First post!!! Might as well post in the Milwaukee thread...LOVE my 2763!!!

Really, really, really recommend the protective boot. Keeps the tool looking nice and protects surfaces. Enjoy that gun, and be careful, it's damn strong!

probably a fathers day deal.. i managed to get those for my truck at work, when they had the $100 off deal and, fit them into an old dewalt hammer drill case.. i even spent money out of pocket and bought the Makita 1/4" and 3/8" impact socket set that was a BF deal for $19 just to be "fully equipt".. i used them today actaully to hang crosswalk signs back up after i had to remove a township sign post to make room for a new telephone pole..

You will get spoiled quick!!

I had to change a catalytic converter earlier this week and forgot to bring everything except my basic tools, i.e. wrench and sockets. It was horrible and took way too long, lol

Stumbled onto these today at Home Depot. I read on Milwaukee's site that they weren't gong to be available until mid-June. I like them, they're made pretty good, with some handy features. More pics later...

Do they lock together?

I believe so......Milwaukee copied DeWalt, but I like Milwaukee's better. They appear to be built out of better material. $24.99 at my local HD.

I returned the 5 DeWalt ones I bought in favor of the toughsystem

I realize using the photos from the Home Depot website, is a minor faux pas...

But my camera is hors de combat...

So...

Here we go...

I got a 18v Compact Brushless Drill Driver---2701-22CT, and a 29pc Drill Bit Set---48-98-2803, from my Wife for my birthday!!!

HooRay!!!!

This is easily the best electrical tool I own, and the drill bits are worth every dime they cost...

I'm a convert to Milwaukee!!!:evil::lol::drool::thumbup::beer:

Yes. And some also commented that they are made better than the DeWalts. I compared them closely, and they are a little better made than the yellow versions. I now own three of them and will get several more. Here's some more pics:

I really like how deep these are. These are 3" screws:

I thought this was a good picture opportunity. Wish I had thrown in the ratchet and some other things. Oh well.

Might as well post this video I did when I first got my 2763

Funny you post that. Friday, for the eff of it, I tried taking off nuts that an IR 1" gun put on until a few brrrp's. Tight as it should be.

I was kinda apprehensive about the outcome, but that 2763, after working on corn planter ¾" v-bolts all day, knocked all 10 of them loose. Kinda shocked the **** outta me... I love that thing.

what do you use the big floodlight for? its one of the few lights i dont have..

I usually throw it under a car or whatever and it lights up an area pretty well. Sometimes takes some weird angles and propping it up to get it aimed right, but it's really bright..

I recommend the 4.0 batteries with it though. I was using smaller ones today and it ***** through them in a couple of hours at most

the dewalt versions of these are really nice, i just dont like how the lid has clasps to hold it closed, instead of there being seperate clasps to hold the lid down.. either way - it works well - hope to see the Milwaukee soon.

I have one of those too. Its home is in the hall outside the bedrooms, for easy grabbing during a power failure. It's almost too bright, even on the lowest setting for some auto related jobs.

...... in MY store..
Gotcha! I literally almost tripped over them. They were sitting on the floor, in a cardboard display box, next to the M12 display. I was in there the night before, and they weren't there then.

I think you're going to like them, when you see them. I think I'm going to buy several more of them and make a rolling rack for them.

Yeah it's bright as **** for sure.. if I worked inside I think it would be too bright. I'm outside a lot though so it works pretty good under cars then. Kind of messes with your eyes though.. you get used to this super bright light and can't see stuff without it that you'd normally be able to see, lol

I wish it had 3 brightness modes. I want a low that's slightly lower than the current low, a medium that's between the current high/low, and a high that's brighter than the current bright, they can call it "blind stuff" mode.

I love the big light. In fact I want more. Lot's of nights I'm out in the property loading a trailer and hooking it up, or moving material, etc.

Had to dig up the sewer main the other night b/c tree roots balled up. Grabbed the big light.

I used to have to drag 200'+ of extension cord with a work light. No more of that BS.

Too bad Milwaukee doesn't have a full system though.

Bosch adopted Sortimo's setup, which is super convenient and not any more expensive.

I agree, and I like the design of the Bosch system, but the plastic is much harder and breaks/cracks pretty easy.

Dewalt's organizers are made of a more resilient plastic, but the Milwaukee ones are even more so.
