Hah, I'd only consider myself a tool polisher when it comes to edged tools and chainsaws. All of the tools are used but as I don't use them in my trade and don't have much shop time these days they may not show significant wear for some time. I do tend to baby the cordless tools more while throwing the corded ones around, for some reason.
The corded equivalents of these were mostly moved to my parents' shop for their (and my) use during an ongoing remodel and construction in their new shop. The only corded Milwaukee I have left in the shop does proudly show its wear.
I've been on a mission over the past couple years to replace certain corded tools with their cordless counterparts. After completing my own remodel with corded / pneumatic tools I'm favoring portability due to being involved in the same efforts on my parents' and mother in law's houses.
Aside from the the band saw none were bought new by me. I mostly capitalized on my brother buying larger and larger M18 tool sets (thus having duplicates) and CraigsList. So while I have less than retail into these and each purchase has been spread out over time, they're certainly not cheap. But with the exception of one M18 drill (broke within two hours of use), they've yet to let me down and have proven to be a good investment.
