Okay I had thought to myself wouldn't buy any more tools for while right now but...
I went surfing for new 6 1/2 cordless saw I've been putting off getting a new Milwaukee one because I still use my Makita NiMH saw pretty much daily at work though I'm wanting to replace both cordless saws I have so I can just carry one set of batteries and set up one charger. Again I also want a new M12 5 3/8 saw to place the HF one I have been using for decades now its unbelievable how the battery has lasted soo long and that's been my only excuse NOT to get rid of it though some kid last fall, seasonal help at the orchard, managed to break the plate adjuster knob which I cobbed back up.
Now a while back maybe last Christmas I tried a recon 2630-20 from CPO but sent it back as the guide plate stamping was out sync by two lines or so when set to 90 or any other position for that matter. Wasn't worth it to me for the $30 they offered off list so I returned it for a full refund of my money.
So a 6 1/2 is what I use most often and I've gotten quite used to the left side blade. Anyhow me thinks I cannot turn down this deal Milwaukee has right now. 7 1/4 Fuel circular saw and 9.0 starter kit for only $20 more than the bare tool saw alone. WTF!
Check it out there is like almost no better way to upgrade! The starter kit alone list at HD for the exact same price of
$249
The bare tool saw 2731-20 always lists for
$229

Checking out the specs I figure the weight even with the huge 9.0 will still be less than my 120v corded AC/DC Makita 5007NB the Makita weighs slightly under 11lbs.
I'm happy, happy, happy!
But still want a new 6 1/2
I used Home Depot links but I purchased from ACME because it was still cheaper even after applying the OctoberHD coupon. HD charges state sales tax even with online purchases which kicked the final cost up another $15
