I'm running out of stuff to buy...
What's your turnover rate look like; i.e. how often do you upgrade? Every other gen? Every gen? Longer than that?

Dacan, please stop. I don't need to buy anything else right now. You're a bad influence. I have to go now.
*Copies code and slowly closes garage journal to open up a tab for Acme tools to find things to buy that I don't need.*

Acme gets a lot of my money, they have a good site and stacking sales & promos is huge, some other sites allow it occasionally. I order from Toolup, International, Northern, or others sometimes. Never from CPO anymore, their sales are a joke. Interesting how a small chain in the middle of nowhere NW USA has become a big player online. Still not sure how the have the Milwaukee tool chests, thought they were HD exclusive, unless theres some relationship with HD & Acme.

Wow was that ever fast...FEDEX gal just brought it!
Is this saw sweet and so light even with the big battery compared to my corded Makita just weighed them both a 2 lb difference 9.5 vs 11.5
Wicked long looking a full 17" from front of plate to end of battery but nicely balanced
So great price, great deal!
7 1/4" saw, rapid charger, High Demand 9.0 battery and a Milwaukee framing blade...no rip fence.
And at $225.00 total delivered after discount today, that's now even less than the list price of the bare tool saw alone
He's on the one of everything plan.![]()

What is the code you guys are using? I tried the octoberhd one last night without luck.
Mine arrived from Home Depot today as well! My delivered price was a bit higher after adding in tax, but it was still a great deal. It's nice that Acme put it in a box. Home Depot slapped the shipping label directly to the Milwaukee box and UPS left it in plain view at the front door. The tape seal was broken (likely from shipping). Everything in the box looked perfect though and the tape on the 9.0 battery box was still sealed.
By comparison, the 7 1/4" saw is significantly larger than the 6 1/2". Part of me want to keep the 6 1/2" too, but there's really no need to have both.
The 9.0 battery is a lot bigger than expected. It unfortunately does not fit in the M18 flood light, but it fits in everything else I own. The 3.0 XC batteries have always been enough to get me through any project. I can't even imagine how long the 9.0 will last.
I wonder how long it will last in the jacket on high? Not that the huge battery would be comfortable for ordinary use, but for sitting outside at a Packers game for 3-4 hours it might be worth it.

Wow just now I had to go check out that for myself, Yup not even close to fitting the 2361 light with that molded in support bar. So then I wondered about the 0886 fan. Would it sit high on that battery and then not sit on the feet??? Whew exactly level with the rubber bumpers and not a decimal measurement to spare you can't even slide a business card underneath. A couple of 4.0's would always run my fan most all day so with this this battery I should be probably good for the day.
Another future plan for the 9.0 it is to also have it for the water transfer pump I am definitely getting before my greenhouse plant sales restart in the Spring. That is aclosed compartment too. I will have to check up on that though I thought I remember hearing that will fit.
Geez now I have to wonder if there are any other tool applications that might have an issue with that battery![]()
Went to the milwaukee service center for something else, walked out with m12 sander/polisher for $135 and a brand new 9.0 from a pawn shop for $150
Curious what people are using that tiny of a polisher for. The M18 is on my list.
According to Milwaukee, the only tool that does not accept the new 9.0 battery is the original M18 floodlight (hex shaped), but they are suppose to offer a service part that just snaps in to fix that issue .

It looks like Milwaukee updated the flood light to accept the 9.0 batteries. The flood light has the same model number: https://www.instagram.com/p/BK4UM7hhXPs/
I did find this part number for the hang bar: 31-01-1585 It's $2.10 from Milwaukee, but I can't tell if it is the updated version or the same as the original:

I'm sure I won't be picking up any Milwaukee fans for saying this but don't believe they really made them for real work but more for stuff like bleacher sitting and having name recognition or just for the guy that has to get out his warm truck for a few to check out the job![]()

Only reason I got the m12 polisher is for using rolok disks for cleaning rtv.
That almost seems fishy... who the hell had to pawn a 9.0 already? And the polisher has never been used?

I'm still wearing one of the red M12 hoodies from when they were clearanced and man that thing is snugly. It's my favorite hoodie when the battery is out of it. When the battery is in it it's my relatively comfortable while being stabbedvorite hoodie.
I had the original Khaki hoodie. I spoke of it before and really beat it death in just two weeks on the job and Milwaukee did replace it (but with Hillbilly Camouflage was all they had left at the time)
Even so I am considering getting another one maybe a red one for use in the garage.
And that should look real good contrasted with some black moly grease.
I still don't really get the heating system though. I like the mobility using hoodies vs a more restrictive cut and I used mine outside all day for work. But most all the heat was in the chest zone and half the time I had the zipper partially opened. Where I felt I really needed it once again...was my upper back maybe it would help to dry the wet snow and/or rain off. Plus my lower back/kidney area where I felt it would comfort me the most in my old ageand a place to routinely warm my hands you know that really freaking helps...a lot of times I cant always wear gloves to handle nails and screws out of my pouch (though foamed nitriles help somewhat there ) or even some of the tool switches sometimes.
Plus my other peeve was also the inner battery pocket to change out the battery. That was just BS.
