Right on. I'm leaning Milwaukee but a little hesitant because of 2 vs 3 speeds on the 1/2 impacts. I guess I could wait and see if Milwaukee upgrades to 3 speeds here before long.
I DO agree, and the 2763 is just to tear **** up. For the best of both worlds get the 2754 (3/8" w four speeds) or the 2755B (1/2" with four speeds) for most "average" work........unless all your work is fasteners 5/8"+ and heavy industrial or rust.
Recently on our GMT800 I found the 2754 on setting 4 (which automatically cuts off after about a second of hitting a non-moving fastener) put the lug nuts close-ish to 140ft lbs. It was nice 'cause I then just needed to swing my 1/2" torque wrench about 1/8 of a full rotation to get them all at 140ft lbs; IOW I'm just saying it got them close enough to 140 that it was very convenient and quick to then go bump each one to where I wanted it with a device actually capable of measuring torque.
OTOH if Milwaukee does update the 2763, then it (the 2763) will go on clearance at a lot of places. Still, the 2763 is big and heavy so not ideal as an "everything" impact IMO.
