Does anyone have a date for when the hammers come out?
ETA is April 2017
How good are the impact drivers if you use the adapter to put a socket on? I'm assuming good to tighten but how good for busting a bolt loose?

Thanks for posting that Dacan. I have been waiting to get the 2897-22 kit and it's 349.00 Is the surge a more powerful set? From 429.00 down to 319.00 looks like a better deal
Cool I've been waiting for a deal on this! What's the chances there will be plus a free tool with this soon?
Toolup sale - $20 off any Milwaukee order over $100
Coupon code: CHOP20
Ends 3/1/17 @ 11:59pm
Wish their shipping wasnt outrageous for orders that dont qualify as free shipping, $20 off with $14 shipping... At least no one is as bad as CPO, their free ship promo on some Milwaukee items, they jacked the prices just for the promo...

I absolutely agree...pretty much the only reason why I'm not getting the new impact now. It'd be a different story if I didn't buy a **** ton of Milwaukee locking pliers/clamps from Acme last week (will post about those when they're all in...a few are "special order"), I'd throw a few of those in the mix to make the $200. Or if they had the boot.
Speaking of which, Milwaukee needs to kick their boot production and distribution into high gear. Why you can't effortlessly order it with your new impact is bananas...
Finally got the back ordered performance gloves, nice lighter version of the demo gloves, the fingerless ones are the same type as the performance ones. Not sure why HD stopped carrying the Milwaukee gloves.
Also I am missing a new pair of demos, wonder if KC has been in my neighborhood.

I upgraded my bar clamp inventory, got sick of my old HF ones. The 5% of my tool exp not spent on Milwaukee. Next is maybe hammers, was gonna look at usual players, now I hope HD will get the Milwaukees to check them out.
I think I will have to **** it up and order 2 M12 Mag/Hardline combos and sell the 2nd Mag.

Damn you, thanks for costing me more money. In for a Surge kit at $239.
I was initially skeptical of the lower power numbers on paper but feedback from actual users seems positive, so now I gotta see what all the fuss is about. I'm not even a wood guy, I rarely drive wood screws. But I do use impact drivers for self-drilling sheeters a good bit.
It's kinda funny on the HD site 'cause they still have the kit with one battery at $249, or the kit with two batteries is $239. The tool alone is $149. I wish this kit had a rapid charger but oh well.
If anyone wants the hard case PM me, can't stand the damn things. I used to recycle 'em until my city got stupid and made recycling way too difficult (which was their whole goal IMO) so now they go in the trash. I will only go so far to "save the environment." But I always pry off the metal clasps and they go in the steel scrap (which actually pays me - what a concept!)
Wow WHAT is up with the CPO pricing hey
Free shipping offer (MILFREESHP) on new condition Milwaukee right now but oh boy some of the prices are higher than have ever seen them before. A few things are still ok though but very selective.
Back at the end of January I bought from them the 2352-20 18V LED on a free ship offer The light was at $59 and that was the total price to my door, Today on the website that same light is $99 WTF! And it never was $99 even new. $89 has always been the normal retail for as long as I can remember. Even the M18 flashlight is listed at $10 more than its usual $49 price.
But the 49-24-2735 M18 flashlight and 4.0 battery combo is just $79 along with free ship
For hammers, I'm partial to Estwing. I have no doubt that the Milwaukee ones will be pretty nice though.
I used a 2530 M12 Fuel circular for the first time tonight. I cut up 2.5 pallets and was actually pleasantly surprised. I was using a 6.0 and it still had 3 bars when I finished.
I've used my m18 to cut up 2x4, did awesome. I'm guessing this is an m12?I like mine as well. Used it a few time on a 4.0 batt to cut up some compressed mdf type boards to make shelves. The fuel has enough power for home use and not have to worry about cord or charging with a 4.0 or higher batt. I like the fact it is very light!
Next time, I need to just test cut a few 2x4 to see how it perform. I hope I will not be disappointed on the 2x4.
I still have a Ni Cad 8v HF 5 3/8" saw I mainly use it up at the orchard. The overall size and weight of saws like that make it a perfect fit for maintenance of the hundreds of wooden harvest crates I have to constantly repair each season.
I have to believe the Milwaukee M12 fuel would be superior in every way
Eventually will have one...
Sure be a great bare tool buy with a free 6.0 battery offer![]()
Some HD's are clearancing (tool only) for $75. Even the "new" price at HD.com is $129. Not too bad.
