My local Home Depot has one of the M18 nailers for $100 right now. Can't remember which one, though.
16gauge. Finally at the price point it should've been. Picked one up.
i wish these were around me for that price ! anyone want to pick one up for me ? i will pay shipping.
Yeah seriously that's a pretty crazy price. Are they the straight or the angle nailer? I'm gonna stop at HD on the way home to be sure there aren't any at my local store (I don't even think I've seen the M18 nailers there before). If there aren't any, anyone wanna hook some brothers up?

16 ga straight nailer.
The angled version was down to 229 on the website a couple weeks ago, I think. The week before that, the 15 ga angled was down to 229 as well.
Model 2741 was the $100 model, kit with 2.0, if it did hit 100 in any store, bout 1% chance of finding one. Even the pneumatic Milwaukee is on clearance, still think somethings up.

Alright, thought I had a second, but he decided to pass.
Anyone interested in going in on halves with me on this? Buy 2 (select) bare tools, get two free batteries and a bag. I don't need the bag, but would like the battery. If anyone wants one of these tools and would like to go in halves with me, please let me know. I'm going for the mid torque 1/2" impact, personally.

I wish I had gotten it for 9$ instead of 29$. It doesn't make a very effective paperweight and at that price it's competing with some premium paperweights. They say those bolts shouldn't ever be reused anyway.....I wouldn't know anyone that would.Lol

I have the dry cut and love it commpared to any abrasive . It's a great tool in my opinion.Milwaukee's done this before - their 14" dry cut chop saw was a bomb and they just abandoned it, then they completely abandoned all the new style D-handle saws (ie the 14" abrasive also). They do it quietly and with no explanation.
You can still get the straight handle abrasive, and that's it.
edit: I take it back! Looks like the 6180 just came out and it's back to a D-handle!

I have been using the m18 cordless mitre saw lately and really would like a stand for it. What are you guys using for stands besides the Milwaukee one?
Something with wheels would be nice
Be careful what you get. Balance is an issue. If I set my saw on the Craftsman stand where the rollers were even with the fence it would tip over backwards. Only the front half of the rollers were usable.I have been using the m18 cordless mitre saw lately and really would like a stand for it. What are you guys using for stands besides the Milwaukee one?

I think I got mine from Zoro with a 20% off coupon. It ended up in some way being a little lower than I could find it elsewhere. If you aren't in Illinois you also don't pay tax so that's a bonus. The jobsite fan is pretty awesome though, it has a fairly concentrated beam of air but I carry it with me basically the whole time I'm working outside, moving it around to always be pointed at me and it makes a big difference.
Anyone have a Zoro 20% off coupon code?
How do people feel about the surge? There is a really good deal on CPO...
Buy the surge kit for 329 and get the fuel hammer drill and an extra 5.0 battery.
So for 329 you get:
Surge
2704 drill
3 5.0 batteries
Charger
Case for surge.
This seems to me like a really good deal but I have heard some people say that they like the fuel impact driver better than the surge.

I posted one yesterday in the Zoro hot deals thread, dk if its been used
there is a thread for that in the Hot Deals section. usually, zoro codes start with a "spend 200$" to get any percentage off. they also often will only offer it on selected categories . . . . .
Thanks for the help guys. I just got the Milwaukee Jobsite Fan (0886-20) for $67.42 delivered.
When I looked in the Zoro "Hot Deals" thread I was concerned that my order for a $84.27 fan didn't hit the minimum for the discount. However, I saw a "JUNESTOCK8" code on a previous post that provided 20% off and was good until early August. The minimum was $50, you had to register on the Zoro site and it was one-time -use per account. Anyway, this beats the $79 plus shipping from ACME. Amazon was over $100!
Nice! I just used the same code and got it for $70.99 shipped (got $3.57 in tax). Thanks for the code!
