Nize, mine showed up other day.

Speaking about boots, I had gotten 49-16-2754 from HD for $24, thought it was for the 2754 V2 Fuel 3/8, it says for 26xx models, is a little loose, so is it not the right one?

Wish the impacts could be stored in the cases with boots on...

The boot for the 2754 is 49-12-0012.

and I just ordered the same boot (49-16-2754) for my 3/8" 2754

going to cancelled my order now lol

I have an extra boot at home.

Package is a little crinkled but it's brand new.

I ordered the wrong one for my mid torque.

it seems to me someone on here was looking for screw in handles for their grinder or something. here are two from ebay. i dont know anything about either, although they are not expensive:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/182330697084

7 left, 8$ free shipping

and this one:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/263107029017

6$ plus 12.40$ shipping (for me, from PA to MA, not really that far)

a lot more, but if it is the one you need . . . . . .

You are probably talking about me. I got mine from here:

http://www.toolpartspro.com/milwaukee-parts/miscellaneous-parts/milwaukee-42-62-0125-avs-side-handle

It is the really nice cushioned one and only costs around 8 bucks. It does take a little over 2 weeks to get it.

Thanks. I've been watching for pre-orders too, but haven't heard anything in a while and didn't know if anyone here had any new info yet.

Anyone know when the Fuel Ratchets are coming out?
Been hearing any day now for a month, I can't wait! I ended up buying a 1/4", I figure in that drive size I won't really need the extra power as much. I can't wait for that 1/2" though.

Nick on Facebook has them all for pre-order. No clue as to whether it's a good deal or not.

I've been following that group pretty closely, but I never saw them listed. I even did a few searches and still don't see them.

There are also place holders on the hd website... just search Milwaukee ratchet fuel.

Thanks, just found them. Wonder why the 1/4" is $10 more than the 3/8". I have the regular 3/8" Milwaukee ratchet, was planning to buy the 1/4" first.

That's the same as the current ratchets, the 1/4 has always been $10 more. No idea why though. Maybe they sell less?

My friend really wants a cordless rivet also. They will probably make it before the inflator they may never produce.

Ok now that I'm getting my wish for a heat gun I now want a cordless rivet gun. Seriously.

Surprised HD is the first to have them on the site, pricing is as predicted $50 more than current. I may only get the Fuel 3/8, dont see using the 1/2 much as can run an adapter its what only 10ft-lbs more.

Still think the non Fuels will still be around for a while and probably with new permanent prices of $79.

HD also has the kits listed, I do want the Fuel case though. Says 2x2.0s wonder if thats true or it will be 3.0s.

WHY?!?! You would sell way more of those than...say a drain cleaner. They would be great on the farm. I know alot of people would buy one just for bikes and cars

Because we have been asking for one for many years and they havent made it yet. I am almost to the point of giving up. It wasnt at NPS17 it could be a suprise release in next 9 months, if it were at NPS18 then its still a year plus from release, beyond ridiculous at this point.

I think a M12 self toasting marshmallow stick is more likely. Hmmm could the new heat gun be used to toast marshmallows on a rainy day...

I really wonder if Milwaukee is hesitant on the inflator 'cause they can't get it to their standards or at least what people are asking for.

I maintain it needs to take a fullsize truck tire to AT LEAST 50 psi from zero before overheating or needing a break. And ideally if you start with some pressure it should be capable of 80psi - at least 65-70. I don't care if I have to carry two 9.0's - I will.

I don't want a toy or something intended for Joe Suburbia with his passenger car. It needs to handle Load Range E LT tires on trucks and tandem axle trailers. This would make the most sense given Milwaukee's focus on "the trades" anyway - contractors have 3/4 tons and larger trailers.

What are the new cordless pancake compressors putting out for pressure anyway? Was it Ridgid that has released one?

An inflator, a chainsaw (next year!) and a rivet gun and I'm in heaven.

Was reading the new M18 Fuel 1/2 V2 pages, mode 4 is a bolt removal mode where it applies full power to break loose then slows down for removal. Also the pin model only says 750/1100 ft-lbs where friction ring is 1000/1400. The max RPM of them is 1750-1800, thought it would of been higher as V1 is 1700rpm. Guess the mid torque will still be faster for lugs... Supposedly its going to be priced same as V1 $229

The Ryobi I think is 100psi. My only logic is its too cheap of a tool, they want to sell $100+ plus items not something $50, sh!t for $80 I would buy it even if it provided nothing above the $30 Ryobi one.

Dewalt just announced a cordless pankcake compressor and theres others out there. Perhaps they will make one instead of the inflator, but I think a cordless compressor is a waste, I just want an inflator period.

LOL on 2 9.0s to use the inflator..

Honestly I could have used a cordless compressor just the other day had a small job in the Farm store and I had to haul my 6 gal pancake just to use my HF Pro 18 ga brad nailer/stapler , I had the cordless 16 but my shortest fastener was 2 1/2" and all I really needed was 1 1/2" plus that 16 wouldn't go that small anyways.

Got me thinking about getting the straight magazine 18ga cordless brad nailer too. :p

I'd get a tank style cordless compressor if there was one offered.

I don't think they'll do one. WHat does your pancake draw, 1200 Watts? That would drain a 5a-hr battery in 3-4 minutes. You'd barely get the tank full and you'd be out of battery.

For scenarios such as yours, I fill a portable air tank that I have generally had to take to the track with me. Works incredibly well.

$37 shipped on their eBay listing. Thanks for that

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Milwaukee-4...g-Impact-Wrench-Protective-Boot-/122551719321

I actually didn't even look to see if shipping was cheaper from the website.. just wanted the boot to top off the collection..

I did the same. I probably could have saved $10 if I looked but I've been waiting months for the stupid boot so I just bought it. Sounds like people are having trouble now even getting the impact from most vendors.

Air tank probably wouldn't sink to too many before the pressure drop enough not to run a gun. Plus once that happened I still need a way to fill it again

Ridgid already has one on the market takes twin batteries and they work in sequence;

And I just read today Dewalt has one now too. Havent seen that yet

Ign also ask about the max pressure

I go see if can pull up some specs and a review

Ridgid says 120 but pro tool said that peak and 115 psi was steady

They easily got 400 fasteners on one set of batteries

$199

https://www.protoolreviews.com/tool...-brushless-18v-1-gallon-air-compressor/28412/

Don't see the weight on it. But maybe I just missed it :headscrat

Now the new Dewally FlexVolt cordless compressor just came out in reviews has bigger tank 2.5 gal and weighs 21lbs says can drive over 1000 fasteners

Does 135 psi max cost $100 more then the Ridgid

https://www.protoolreviews.com/tools/air/compressors/dewalt-flexvolt-air-compressor-cuts-cord/32159/.

I'm excited fellas. I have the mid-torque 3/8" impact coming and the 4.5" grinder. I love the big boy 1/2" because I have yet to find a bolt it can't free if the clearance is there. However, it will snap M14 bolts with no problem. That can be a problem...

That's asking a lot out of a compact compressor. Duty cycles can be high, but only a few can put out like that. I wouldn't expect a cordless inflater/compressor to go from 0-60 PSI without needing at least one break from the action.

It would be heavy, expensive, and wouldn't last long on a charge. If it was only one cylinder, they'd have to go absolutely balls-out to get it to last under those conditions.

I'd buy one that can handle half that duty, and I'd pay a fair amount for it, too. Perfect for around the yard stuff when I don't feel like breaking out the Powertank.

I'm chomping at the bit for one of those chainsaws, though.

I think the Dewalt flexfolt compressor takes 2 batteries and can run for 15 mins.

At least there woll be something worse than the runtime of the Fuel blower on a 9.

Edit, Dewalts only uses 1 60v battery

Yeah, I have zero interest in a pancake compressor, but I'm not a carpenter.

Speaking of not a carpenter, if I'm dreaming I want a wire feed that runs on a couple 9.0's. I freakin' love my Hobart Trek!!!

Oh if we're really dreaming Milwaukee will breath new life into M28, sell the 5.0's state-side and release something like a 28 volt 9.0. Maybe a couple M28 9.0's could power a welder......... :D
