I have both versions of the 2361 light the older model and the newer one that that's touted at higher lumen rating and can fit the 9.0 battery,

They are both identical in size and I really cannot discern any significant difference in brightness

Yeah its size is a drawback which is why we are all so hot on the mid torque. I too have struggled to fit it in places, would like to see in person the diff between 2763 and 2767. If I didnt have the mid torque I would be early to upgrade. Cant believe OP got $170 for the 2763 used so quickly.

Quadruple discounts [emoji23]

I, too, don't plan on replacing my 2763 since it does all I need it to do and frankly I don't use it that much (but when I do...it's invaluable). What I find most appealing with the gen 2 HT impact is it's length. I looks like the motor doesn't hang over the back so much, which would be really beneficial. That has gotten in the way more than a few times on the 2763 for me.

Thank God for extensions and universal sockets/joints

I have always been a big fan of the light, have V1 lower lumen one and its still very bright, got the part to run a 9.0 in it too.

But the M18 flood light to have now I think is the new rover one due out in Oct. I will definitely be getting that.

I have had one of those since they came out.. love it most of the time. I wish it had 8 sides instead of 6 though, every now and then I find myself propping it up with something to make the angle a little different. Works very well for working on cars on the ground.. just roll it under the car and it's a ton of light and lasts for hours. The battery life is just insane for the amount of light it puts out

It's been very rugged for me, I've thrown it a few times, drug it across concrete plenty of times, no issues at all. The clear lens over the LED's is also replaceable if it gets scratched up.

I haven't tried the newer version yet.. it looks brighter and more adjustable but is def. bigger too so it's just a trade off

Yeah, $170 is impressive. I just moved to Austin and it seems like the used market here is a little on the higher side (some people are out of their mind with what they're asking for some stuff), so if I do decide to sell it might not be too bad. I sold off my 2755B a few months ago with hopes of picking up the mid torque, but with the recent move, that's the least of my concerns right now. I still want it though! Not totally convinced that I should give up my trusty 2763, relying solely on the mid torque for all things impact related beyond my Fuel driver + socket adapter. The "what if" thing comes to mind haha. My 2763 also works so good for tire rotations, with mode 2 to blast them off and mode 1 to get me within the torque wrench window. And its size isn't a problem at all in this scenario. I don't know :dunno:

I agree - between the size, output, adjustments, adaptability, and price...it is hard to beat. That swivel head is gonna come in soooooo handy

If I'm selling in the FB group I usually go for half what I paid and then I sell it for what I ask. If I sell locally I mark it way above what I want because no matter how high or how low I price something everyone's around here will lowball you SOO bad. People around here are just idiots though.

In other news, I bought my first One Key tool last night. I've been hunting for a good price on the Fuel Sawzall and $140 was the best o could find new, then someone posted on eBay a damaged but still sealed box OneKey model for $140. Box didn't even look that bad. I figured that price was as low as I'd get for a Fuel and I basically got the one key for free. Don't know how much I'll use it on the sawzall but it could be good for programming cuts in different materials. Anyone use one key?

I keep wondering about 9.0 prices. When first released it was $199, then moved to $169, the HD pack with 2x9.0 plus charger for $199 is crazy, the 5.0x2 pack is $199. No other batteries have had such deals. Think its to clear stock to update to latest cells? Perhaps thats why the M18 6.0 is non existent also, and perhaps why there were so many M12 XC 6.0 promos in the spring?

I still wanna know where the M18 3.0 and 6.0 are??

Don't forget the recent "July Black Friday" that had $85 9.0's. These things have come WAY down in price and there's really no reason to pay over $100 today for a 9.0

I thought the M18 3.0 existed a while ago, they were the batteries included with the non-Fuel kits...you got 1.5ah or 3.0ah. Fuel kits were 2.0ah or 4.0ah.

He is referring to the compact 3.0 same size as the 1.5 or 2.0.

If the M12 Fuel V2 kit in Nov does not have compact 3.0 and XC 6.0 then somethings up

Yeah that one does look nice, I'll probably buy one of those. I have one of the stand lights that was on sale around Christmas for $199 too and love that thing.. Milwaukee has the lighting stuff figured out pretty well

I'm willing to bet the increased output rating is ONLY a result of it being able to hold the 9.0 out of the box with the increased output that pack throws off. Other than that, I'm betting it's the same exact light.

I have the small shop blower, and if I plug the 9.0 into it and pull the triggger the motor shuts down. I have to ease it to full speed with a 9.0 to avoid that. It's the only battery it does that with.

The m18 3.0 are the larger packs marked "XC". The 6.0 have been around, but Milwaukee released the 6.0 and 9.0 around the same time I believe. It doesn't seem plausible to buy a 6.0 when all the kits come with 5.0 now basically. Only makes sense to buy the 9.0 instead, esp with the OPE stuff out now..

Won't surprise me if the 6.0's wind up as a "free battery" soon just to get rid of em.

I see now, I'm humbled. Ok, I'll buy the saw & charger from ya if you if that's ok. Private message PayPal address or better way for me to pay.
Thank you.

I literally just got home after I stopped to buy the last one. I didn't even see your post till now, but I figured screw it, I'll buy it and either throw it up on the forum or eBay for sale, and see what happens. I was just about to make a listing for it. I'll pm you in a few min.

I personally have never seen a 6.0 XC yet! :wtf:

Wow someone recently posted some really great size comparison photos between the Gen 1 and Gen 2 High Torque inmpact wrenches over on the FB page

What ARE all the mode settings anyhow? :headscrat

I just may have to consider dumping my 2763 off as used tool on my market table yet! :3gears:

Now I need to see how that new high torque sizes up to mid torque I figure its gonna be one or the other but not both. :dunno:

So lets break down big Nick's deal most recent deal. It sure looks pretty good at quick glance...

$825

the charger isn't worth anything to me (since it is old style, not the new rapid charger). the bag doesnt look big enough to carry the tools, the charger, and the batteries, so i dont consider it worthwhile sold as part of this set.

i wonder how may of these kinds of things he sells? he offers deals like this a lot, so i assume he moves enough of them to make it worth while . . . . .

That's all you can pick out to say

Obviously the charger and tool bag are pretty immaterial in the entire deal

I have rapid charger and though its nice I rarely even often use it my bench has had several basic chargers plugged in for every day use and they all work just fine. Obviously the rapid charger is what came with my 9.0 and is probably best for it with the cooling since the basic one gets pretty darn hot charging a 9.0.

Other than that I have never longed for anything different right up through a 5.0 for any of my charging needs

Alright, I need to stay away from this thread, at least until the Fuel ratchets come out. That and maybe the heat gun. And maybe the soldering iron. Damn you Milwaukee..

The thread itself is addicting, but the promo HD seems to run yearly (buy kit + random tool and get 150 or 200 off) helps you stock up even more

The M18 hex flood runs forever on a 9.0, after a little more than 3hrs last night still had 4 bars. Used the M18 hex flood, M18 2360 trueview rover base flood, M12 rover flood, two M12 stick lights and M18 stick light working on the car. Damn I need the M12 underhood.

Ya its really not much better most list price

Seems like most of his deals aren't really that great, especially the ones with toolboxes included over $1k.

Even if he has a "good deal" it's mostly comprised of free stuff no one wants.
How many hex sets or 3/8 metric only chrome socket sets does someone need?

actually, i had a long post about how much the batteries were worth, the light, radio and fan, and how much it left for the tools, but i had no ideal what those were going for.

but i deleted it rather than dump all over the deal, instead deciding to comment on the filler, something that a lot of people would kind of gloss over when looking at the deal as a whole.

The one deal I bought from him I thought was pretty decent. M12 Fuel 3/8" impact wrench kit (2.0 + 4.0ah pack) + 6.0ah pack + M12 rover light for 225.

At the time the impact kit was going for 199, so for 26.00 I got a 6.0 pack and the rover light

Im still not granted access to their FB group, but from the deals posted here it does seem kinda like the really good ones were in the past...maybe a way to get everyone hooked.

I would take a picture of all my Milwaukee stuff, but my rooms aren't big enough to fit them all in the cameras frame. (I'm kidding,.. Maybe...) All I know is if I die of a heart attack, somebody is gonna inherit enough tools to start 2 contracting companies if they wanted to.

The company Im working for now, had told me they wanted me to help them upgrade all their tools and equipment when I started there.. Every few weeks I hand over a list of stuff they need to get to make things easier.. I got an email today from the girl handling all my equipment orders, and the last sentence was, "let me know if you want me to get you anything else"...... Not sure if they know who they're dealing with yet.. lol
