That's interesting about the 7 1/4" Miter Saw saw. I thought I was on the market already too.

Not quite sure what to do here other than warn others of a bad vendor on ebay. I ordered 4 M12 3.0 batteries from Mac's Enerprisese ( dabesdeal4u ) on 12 Feb and paid via credit card on paypal.

I never received the batteries. Contacted the seller who sent tracking information that shows they were left on the porch. The tracking is not correct, they were not delivered to my address as verified by video surveillance and I did not sign for them. He has refused to help whatsoever. Filed a case with ebay buyer protection and it was closed within minutes since he provided the tracking number. No matter it does not prove it was delivered to me. Guess there is no ebay buyer protection any more. I called ebay to discuss and they were short and darn near rude to me. No help. I filed with my credit card to dispute the transaction but doubt it will help.

Avoid this very poor vendor hiding behind loopholes in ebay policy to scam folks out of money.

I have done less and less with ebay in the last few years. Been a member for over 10 years and used to do quite a bit there. Both buying and selling. Its really gone down hill.

If anyone has any suggestions on how to get my $190 back, I am all ears. Otherwise avoid this scam artist.

I quit using Ebay years ago because of **** like this. I'd rather pay the extra few bucks and just get it from a known reputable company using normal channels so when **** does go bad its easy to remedy.

Shipping company will only deal with the shipper.

That's not always true. I was the recipient of a busted light a few months back and filed a claim with USPS and they handled it.

USPS, at least the local post office, told me the shipper had to file a claim for lost shipment. They also warned that since the tracking shows it was delivered and there was no signature requested, the claim would be closed in short order as delivered. IE its a waste of time.

Likely my CC will say the same. Guess there really is no way to do business on ebay any more and protect yourself. I thought I had done everything correctly, but suppose there is no correct answer. No wonder Amazon has gotten so big and is able to charge a premium price.

True, I should have been more clear.

In this particular situation (lost package), the shipping company will only deal with the shipper.

A cc chargeback or paypal claim should make you whole.

Hope so. CC dispute filed today after ebay dismissed claim.

Just found out ebay will not even let me leave negative feedback for the vendor. Since the 'claim' was decided in the seller's favor, feedback was removed. So even the ratings are now completely bogus. Did not used to be this way. Yep, done with ebay. Its outlived its usefulness.

I can’t say enough about discover card I’ve had a few problems with shopping online and thieving family members and both times less than 15 minutes on the phone with someone that had English as their first language problems were solved.

Don't have one, but its advertised on the front page of my local industrial companies latest Milwaukee flyer for $550usd. Something about a 7 second setup and being waterproof up to 3 feet

Other seldom seen $2000 ish cordless tools in the flyer are 2787 1 1/2" magnetic drill, 2633 2" to 3" Propex expansion tool and a 2777 ACSR cable cutter

You need to push them harder,

I had a package that wasn't delivered to me, and it showed delivered and that it was left with owner. I wasn't even home so it could not have been left with me.

I got paid from the post office. This was an EBay transaction, I just had to show what I paid for it. I did all the paper work

No bucket light for me.. those are really made for fiberglass buckets which I personally don't use.. too much money anyway.. a good headlight is enough, or and a good light on the ground is enough really.

That monster milwaukee rocket tower - in MY opinion - just not worth the money, especially if you need batteries for it. For like $700 you can get a serious military / ems grade (if that's a thing) Pelican light that's all self contained iwith a 6,000 lumen lamp, Bluetooth controls, and full brightness adjustability that displays a countdown timer to let you know how long it will run at the setting you choose.

Like this one.. I've used these.. awesome lights
http://www.pelican.com/us/en/pro/product/remote-area-led-lighting-systems/rals/standard/9490/

I had one of those and its big brother in the rolling suitcase with 2 heads.. only thing is it's not Lithium batteries, but honestly, the weight of the pack helps keep the base steady, and you can charge them with 110 or 12v. At a MAX 24 hour runtime, who's complaining.

Speaking of lights - anyone else get the 2 pack of the new smaller CAT lights in Costco? Pretty nice. $16 for 2. Run off AA'S - 6HR/3HR runtimes, 500/250 lumen. Magnetic back, flip down handle/stand too.. batteries included.. ABSOLUTELY worth the money.. I put a package of gloves up there so u can see how small they are. Just not rechargeable like the older bigger model.

I just bought a pair the other day. I like them so far. They're $19.99 here. :dunno:

Those things are BADASS! I picked up the AA ones, and the rechargeable one.

I have one of the those Home Depot type RTV stores locally and they have the CAT lights.

I love 18650 stuff (and try to stick to it), but AA is also pretty handy in my household.

I was re-routing all my cables under my big desk the other night and the AA CAT light was perfect and frikin bright.

They go on sale occasionally. I got the ridgid stand for $99 or $129. I like it because you can wheel it when it is up. Others move the wheels off the ground when the stand is up.

My opinion on miter saw stand options - if it needs to be mobile, find one suited for that. A lot of people just want one to set up at home and the whole ease of folding and rolling around become less important. Typically more expensive models will of course be better - but if you just wanna get up off the floor than really anything is good enough. That said, I'd keep the size and weight of the saw as a factor, meaning don't put a 12" slider on a $50 stand.

Picked up a cpuple of these LED usb rechargeable flashlights. Little spendy at $70 but a damn nice light.

Loving the M18 mitre saw as well. Crazy thing, when i went to return the first one at HD they only had the saw on the reciept. It came with a second 9.0 battery in another separate shipment. Being honest i told them this and tried to give the battery back with the saw. Even the manager said it's not on the reciept so i can just keep it.

I bought one of those flashlights but I ended up returning it. When I slid the front part out to focus the light beam it kept sliding right back in. You couldn’t focus the beam and just have it stay. Not sure if they all do this or if it was just a bad unit.
