Who here USES the one Key functionality ? Never have yet or took out the time to do mode 1, 2, etc

I use it to start fasteners slow then high rev, for projects. Comes in handy.

Its subjective, like ratchets, one size doesn't fit all. Choice is good.

I have to google this to see what year the Surge came out. I grab this more than my other impact but this one does not have the 1K func. I feel like this is newer in purchase than my 1K one

The bolts holding the bed down on my truck..needed the big gun.. truck is a 95 and appeared to be the first time the bed was ever removed so it gets to use that as an excuse, combined with needing extensions to reach.

I used both the 2655 and 2763 to remove the bumper on my pals old Silverado truck. The compact didn't get much on it own but with the High Torque more often than not had hard time getting a good placement I really need some heavy duty universal joint impact adapters. There a set assorted sizes at TSC store I have been eyeballing figure with 15% coupon off at some point I might get for around $20. It's never on clearance :lol_hitti

https://www.tractorsupply.com/tsc/p...pact-universal-joint-adapter-set?cm_vc=-10005

How they might hold up I dunno but it's worth the shot. I have the full adapter set in various sizes for all my different impacts and ratchet same brand and been beating on the 3/4" adapter with high torque no problems.

IMO they are really decent.

Trouble was on the bumper I needed 18mm deep for few spots and they only one I had was 3/8 drive, a reducer snapped instantly under the high torque. :rocker:

I believe I used both impact wobble extensions and impact universal. Both from hf. They worked fine for my limited uses of them. All of my impact stuff is pretty cheap with the exception of one sunex kit, but they've all worked for me. Granted I don't use them much, but some stuff has really been beat on with the impacts and not one problem yet.

Hope someone can help me make a decision.

I already have multiple M12 tools and I’m super happy with them all. I work casually with a carpenter building decks, installing flooring and trim. I would like to invest in a multi tool and am looking at the 2426.

I’m concerned that it isn’t powerful enough to cut door casings and trim when installing flooring.

Does anyone have feedback on use of this tool.

I was thinking about pulling the trigger and getting the M18 Impact driver, multitool and drill but don’t really have a huge need to upgrade from my current M12 tools.

Any insight is appreciated.

I have the 12v Craftsman nextec, similar to the m12. Power is there from what I remember, but runtime is the limitation depending what batteries you use.. OBVIOUSLY, an 18v counterpart will be a better, more powerful tool.

I think I'mma just throw it in my work van or car in case of a flat. We'll see... Oh - good, now I can buy a glue gun... Lol

What - Ryobi has an 18v ratchet?
Isn't that the one where you can swap heads and make it a drill or a multi tool? I think it only has like 20ft/lb of torque

quick update on the fuel ratchet. I’ve Had it completely saturated in oil these past few days in a row using it to remove sumps and pumps and still going strong. The only downside is the boot starts slipping. Just take the boot off and clean it all off and put it back on problem fixed.

Can't wait to get some feedback on both of these once you get them and give 'em a try.

They are both tools I've been hoping Milwaukee would make for awhile now.

I've got either a bent rim or a leaking valve stem that I haven't gone out and messed with yet so I've been filling up one of the tires on my truck every couple mornings. I think it'll be perfect.

I've also got the M12 underhood light arriving tomorrow so it will be a very Milwaukee day.

Bought the 9.0 saw all a few weeks back and did a return rebuy for the updated clearance price. Also picked up the gen 1 hammer drill pack out kit for $80. Might as well do the same for the m12 as well.

Nize, sadly the M18 radius aint dropping past $150 and my 30days is up today, so returning it, I did manage to get a display model for $110 though.

Funny I was grabbing 3 M12 packouts yesterday and saw a guy with one in his hand, told him its $70 not $80 and he was like really how do you know... lol. Did manage to use a Lowes 10% though got a hassle, second time this week. Not sure if its just stores in my area or general HD policy lately. They said you can only use the cards from the mail, not printed coupons.

I am way down the pre order list, dont think I am in Acmes batch 1 or even 2 shipping because I resisted even till 10% day 2.

I am seriously skeptical how good it will be for 3 reasons; its M12, its small, and its relatively inexpensive at $69, think most of us thought it might be $80-100. Hope it can add 5-10psi very quickly. If it takes 1 min to add 2-5psi like my jump box I will be very disappointed.

Watching Brian's video @ workshop addict what made me decide to try it.

It was posted here already.

I was surprised at the small size in a way but fits well with my idea of using it as portable air supply for motorcycle touring.

If I end up not liking it, it still maybe popular with my summer crowd also at my tool tent who knows. I could pitch it there.

Interestingly I haven't sold off any Milwaukee tools yet thru a perceived disappointment after purchase. Its all worked like it's supposed too. :spit:

I think way too many have over exuberant expectations on some of this stuff :wtf:

If I ever stop working I may have sell some stuff I duplicated some things in various versions and if want to continue to upgrade something will have to go

I have wondered that to I don’t have a smartphone so seems like a pain to grab iPad just to adjust tools maybe with a large project that needed something special it could be worth it.

M18 chainsaw gonna be here very soon according to the rep at my store. He said they just told him about them today. Spent 15 min talking to the guy, he couldn't believe how much stuff I said I have and was impressed I know about stuff even he hasn't seen.. guy gave me a free pair of their new cut resistant gloves, and one of their big Milwaukee table cloth covers they use for displays.. I asked about a banner and he said that's all he had. Lol. Nice guy..

Ya be curious on the runtime...What kind of work do you do you need a cordless palm sander?

What about that underhood light. Were you doing a review on them?

Biggest reason I try to get everything cordless is I have a single circuit for my garage, and overhead lighting, and den, and laundry room with washer... This actually means I can use the dust collection adapter with my shop vac without worrying about tripping a circuit.

As for the underhood I'm hoping to start shooting a big comparison review soon. Similar to what I did a while back on the M18 Work Light vs. Halogens and the Snap On LED everyone on GJ was buying back when.

Hahaha like any of us NEED every tool we own [emoji23]

You don't need any tool until you need it, then it's too late!

Haha my garage door opener is on the same circuit as the lights controlled by a switch 3 rooms away lol if I want to use my remote in the car I have to leave the lights on all day long.

Yes that is true but I think we have all bought some kind of a tool we didn't strictly NEED.
