Hey guys I'm thinking about getting the hackzall is it worth getting the fuel one or the brushed one? I need it for some work on the car.
I have the brushed and the one flaw I have with it is the way the handle and battery meet and my large hands, with just the force of using the hackzall makes the battery dislodge. Otherwise it's great and I can only imagine the feul is much betterHey guys I'm thinking about getting the hackzall is it worth getting the fuel one or the brushed one? Absolutely go with the Fuel whether you're thinking M12 or M18, definitely worth the extra cost. Big upgrades, besides the brushless motors there's longer stroke length, potted electronics, and a weep hole in the motor housing. I have the M18 Fuel version and have no regrets. I use it for everything: plumbing, working on the cars, cutting up pallets, cutting roots to pull out stumps, cutting conduit and unistrut, you name it.
more like rebranded porter cables.
it is so easy to question what you need; there are tons of options. I don't havr impact stuff in 3/8, but if I was back in the midwest, I bet I would. Make a list of your core work, and what you need for those tasks. Do you want to buy bit sockets, and a few magnet bit sockets empty, or socket adapters? I think expanded 3/8 impact and 5/16 hex markets would be awesome, but that's not what is out there, and you know it too.Hi all,
I'm looking for a two-tool combination for power-sports and (rust belt)truck work.
Would you get 2553-20 and use adapters for sockets, or wait for 2554-20 and use adapters for bits? Or is there some reason why I might need both?
I'd like to pair this with 2767-20 or 2861-20, again I'm not sure which would be the better choice for my needs.
Thanks for any help, I'm on a tight budget and I'm trying to find a combo of the minimum amount of tools that will do all I need.
Here are my 2 new additions this week... I was finally able to find a table saw and this 3 1/2” cutoff came up for sale close to me to I picked it up too... had one on preorder that I cancelled.
Still no mention of the mode lights not turning off unless it is in mode 3. My concern is the battery will die because of it. I've only let it sit for 5 full min & it stays on...I should bring it in and observe it and see if it does go until the battery dies...but that might take a while.
Well...ahem...In regards to torque...RTFM:
The Gen 2 M18 Blowers are on sale for $99.00 @ Home Depot, link here.
Very impressive tool. Almost half the weight of my corded Toro blower and much more powerful. On the lower speed, it worked perfect for dusting my PC case. Also works great for fanning lump charcoal to get it started super fast. With just a 6.0Ah battery, I was able to make a quick run around the house and deck and blow all the wet acorns away without even hitting 2/4 battery bars. Can't wait til more leaves fall.
I'm guessing he is from West of the Mississippi... They don't understand what happens when an north eastern winter meets a North Eastern forest.....Hmm depending on where you live and how many trees you have, the M18 might not cut it. Ever since I was one of the first to get Gen1, I have said it is useless for fall cleanup, Gen2 is barely noticeably more powerful to me. To do leaves in my yard on any October day I would need a wheel barrel full of 9.0s and 5x the time my backpack gas blower would do the job.
I bought this set from hd last month for $199. The promotions change quarterly.I'm fairly new to this addiction. I've got a few M18 tools (Blower, string trimmer and radio). Looking to get an M12 drill/driver and hex impact, specifically, the 2598-22 kit. The best I've been able to come up with is Ebay for $215 with a free 6.0 battery. (Link below)

Is this something that would go on sale, or goes on sale regularly?
Thanks
No, he had asked about these types of boots about a month or two ago to see if there was any interest. I guess he had partnered with some company to make these custom ones.

Anyone have the new jumbo grinder yet? Or any of the M12 stuff? I see someone posted the cut off tool, not sure if they lucked out or if they're a tool reviewer.
A BOGO or similar on the M12 3/8 stubby, and the Hi-torque would be nice.
Had that happen to my M18 impact driver, sent it in and they replaced the the board that controls the led. Happy to say that’s the only issue I’ve ever had with any of my Milwaukee tools since I’ve owned them for almost 3 years now
Thanks for mentioning that. I bought this one off Amazon - Did you just call Milwaukee directly or ???
TIA
Check toolnut for M18 bogo offers on Fuels... only THREE days so be quick about it.
This seems to be the same as HD:

$219, with a free 5AH battery.
Also expires 31 Oct, so a little while left. I cant see how the $30 off is working either, as its $219 down from $229.
Am i missing another BOGO?

Which wrench is this?![]()
