There's a set of extra shallow sockets posted in the stubby impact thread for like $30.. seems like a great way to take advantage of the small impacts if access is your goal, but I can't tell ya just how much more shallow they are.
M12 6.0 battery for $47 shipped.. this is the cheapest buy it now on eBay i found, and only $12 more than the no-name versions..

I was gonna buy an off brand, but really for an extra $12 its worth it. Not to mention I’m pretty certain the off brand wont be a true 6.0 anyway.
I dunno how these guys are doing these prices when the retail is $89 in the stores. Thats about 1/2 price with the tax included on retail.
Because the stores have a huge markup on stuff like that. Last year there was a guy on reddit who owned a local tool store in a large city. He was selling batteries and things at similar prices. I think I paid $44 shipped for a 6.0 battery. The batteries aren't that expensive to make. Your or I could buy the batteries for about $5 each retail. And that's after going through at least a couple of wholesalers in the middle. Milwaukee is probably paying closer to $3 or less. So they have maybe $18-$20 for the cells. Then another couple of dollars in the shell, electronics, and packaging. And probably well under a dollar in labor. So your probably looking at well under $25 for a finished unit delivered to the USA.

Anybody have the older 1/4 impact? Thinking about picking o e up soon. But it’s hard to justify it when I can just use the impact driver with an adapter

Got to briefly use the new stubby today... I don’t have anything at the moment to test it’s limits, but it had zero hesitation zipping out some bolts that I recall my 2454 M12 Impact needing a second or so to hammer before they’d spin out. Reinstalling with the Auto-Shut-Off Mode worked great too! Stopped instantly as soon as it felt snug with no hammering.

Just received shipping notification from ACME for my 3/8" stubby. Fedex shows it should be here on Tuesday.
That’s the one

, ok I'm not Mr. recycle, but that is absolutely horrible. I get maybe 2 shipments (the pens together, then the wrench & boot when released), but 4? Get you back-end software to tell your packers/shippers if the customer has ordered recently to see if they can skip the extras. And what good is my boot without the wrench? Perhaps add an option to ship together or separately/when available. Did you try it on a lug nut? If so, how much was it torqued to? I haven't seen any ⅜ reviews on here yet.
Hey Mike, got done testing on my mom's equinox, step up adapter plus 7/8 socket. First shot no go, tried breaker bar no go, broke out the 1/2 1st gen high torque and it was struggling but got them off after some time, damn mechanic who did the wheel assembly awhile ago.
Torqued them back to manufacturer spec of 125 ft lb and tried again, came off no problems at all and fast too.
You had a LUGNUT on an EQUINOX tight enough to fight the 2763!?????
That is NOT GOOD. I'm surprised you don't have warped rotors or shorn studs

Actually really unhappy with Acme over this order. I ordered the 1/2" stubby, boot, & 2 different Inkzall pens to get the 15%.
1st shipment - 1 blue inkzall pen & catalog
2nd - 1 2-pack of gold/silver inkzall & catalog
3rd - impact boot & catalog
4th - impact wrench & I will go out on a limb and assume another catalog

It seems if so much wasn't wasted on boxes & catalogs, you could lower your prices &/or make more money.
Edit, something to consider is the weight of the sander and battery if sanding walls vs. a flat horizontal surface. You gonna have some tired arms if you have a big area to sand. 110V might be lighter.

Sanding walls? Are we talking about sanding joint compound? If so, wrong tool for the job. Scuffing gloss paint? It should work good.

forgive me, but i love these questions. searching for "palm sander" on amazon:
compared against the M18 sander:
about a pound in either case. i bet that dragging around the extension cord and bearing the weight of the part above the floor comes close to that amount of work.
certainly worth considering, and some empirical evidence from someone who has both and can compare them would be worthwhile . . . .

Looking for suggestion on which is a better deal. Gen 1 blower with 5.0 battery and charger for $140 shipped or Gen 2 blower for $99 w/o battery or charger?
I have a backpack blower but looking for something I can use between backpack time for leaves on concrete.
I few months back on sale I got the 1st gen w/ charger & 5.0 battery for $125. I would pay $99 for the bare 2nd gen.Looking for suggestion on which is a better deal. Gen 1 blower with 5.0 battery and charger for $140 shipped or Gen 2 blower for $99 w/o battery or charger?

Agreed, experienced almost the same thing recently with Acme.
I have both... In the end.. I think I prefer the gen 1 simply because of the manual lever lock position then the gen 2 button lock which pops out with Yur fingers and hands moving around that area. Gen 1 is bulkier then gen 2.. But don't mind it.. Power, battery usage is same.. Dont notice any difference.Looking for suggestion on which is a better deal.
