Just got my Amazon 3 pack of M12 6.0 and my 2 genuine Milwaukee batteries, I'm going to bring them all to work with my sequential charger to see if I notice a difference.

I was surprised to see the Amazon ones have the rubber boots on the bottom as well

Give em the run down this week at work, we are tough on tools so for 15 apiece shipped prime I won't miss much if they flop

I have one of the similar ones off amazon.. it's worked fine over the years but I have had issues with it not snapping in as well as the real M12 batteries so it pulls out sometimes. Nothing major, that's the only difference I've noticed. I bought it more because of it making it easy for my tools to 'stand' than anything else

I mean I guess I'm in the wrong for getting these Chinese batteries over the other Chinese batteries lol.

Huge difference between Chinese components spec'd by and quality controlled by Milwaukee, and Chinese components with little to no engineering or QC. That's what people don't get about China, you can get good stuff but it costs money.

Now that is a pretty good deal. I have the same kit with the non hammer drill. It is a no nonsense drill. I'm pretty fussy about my tools, so mine still looks like new. Good find.

Ok time to start speculating on the unannounced new releases that we might see before NPS 2019. This isn't please Milwaukee make this tool. There are probably 1-4 things they have not announced since NPS 2018 which will hit the market before NPS 2019.

M18 Lawnmower! Took us long enough to get the chainsaw, in 2yrs since OPE M18 tools were released they only have 1 new product the chainsaw. Nonsense! Why its possible they will announce this in Feb/Mar, because NPS 2019 is too late for impacting the mowing season!

M12 non fuel next gen, yeah who cares right, but like the whole M18 lineup is being refreshed I believe non Fuel M12's are next, they just want to clear inventory first.

SDS & Hawgs... I feel like there's a refresh here coming for tools optimized for HO batteries.

M12 Fuel Jigsaw, no really, yeah it took 4 yrs to get M18 Fuel, but think about it why not do the M12 at the same time.

I'm surprised there hasn't been a Fuel M12 polisher/sander yet. It seems to be popular, and if they made a Fuel version that accepted Roloc discs I'm sure it would be a hit. I'd order one in a heartbeat. They seem to be targeting a lot of the small air tools with the M12 Fuels lately, like the stubby impact and the cut off wheel. A Roloc compatible polisher/sander is a logical next step.

Is the current m12 model NOT a fuel? I have it and I dont even know. I've never even used it yet.. only bought it to clear out some gift cards

Use mine all the time... had to go out to the garage and look... Doesn't say Fuel on it.

I make my own roloc backers... I buy cheap backers and rethread them to 9mm 1.25 … so it fits the OEM post. At least I think it's 9mm 1.25... I am so not going back out to check.

Yupp, they're not Fuel and it's not too hard to make Roloc adapters, but a factory option would be better. I do think the main benefit to a Fuel version would be battery life, as it seems that most people are very happy with the power output. If Milwaukee could add 50% or more to the battery life and maybe a little more power, it'd be a killer deal.

I can't recall but wasn't the Super Hawg just released for 2018 though.

M12 battery life is superior to Dremel and the recharge time is zero if you have other M12 tools to swap with. M12 wins hands down.

I have the 3/8" M12 ratchet and the M12 heated hoodie I already knew from the get-go that the M12 battery charges way faster.

So now that guys have had some time to use the polisher, what's the consensus? Practical option for cleaning wheel hubs? Has anyone tried polishing headlights with it?

You talking about the 3" sander/polisher? It works well on headlights, but you need to be careful, as it can burn the light if you spin it up too fast.

I also used it to polish some wheels and it did well with that. Gladly replaced my air powered polisher.

Appreciate the feedback. Polisher will probably be on my Black Friday/Cyber Monday shopping list.

Will probably pick up the 3/8 fuel ratchet, 3/8 stubby impact, polisher, and probably the compound miter saw. :)

I've got the compound miter saw too. That thing kicks ***. Well built. Scored it for $299 on a Home Depot Clearance. Lucky day.

Yesterday I increased my Milwaukee collection (by that I mean my one tool:) that's currently torn apart) by adding the 2760-20 Surge. I bought for working on the atvs/dirtbikes. hoping it proves its worth! I was on the fence for awhile between Milwaukee DeWalt and Makita. I know they all have good tools plus and minuses. But I was drawn to the RED!

I've been eyeing the surge. I have a brushless M18 impact now, and it has plenty of balls, but I'd like something not quite as loud... Especially on sheet metal, or hammering away at small lags, it's gotta be bad for my hearing.

Had to file a warranty claim on my 1/4 hex impact driver 2753-20, about a year ago the setting 2 LED went out which I ignored but lately when I pull the trigger the drill will randomly not work if you pull the trigger again it will be fine but it is very inconsistent.

Anyone know how long Milwaukee usually takes to perform warranty work?

They received the drill last Friday the 19th
