Pretty sure its all the usual retailers online also.
Soon Home Depot... not sure who else will have it...

It's a stupid handle..
Speaking of packout, did anyone else notice all the other **** they have for it now?? Tool bags, back packs, cooler..?? When??
I’m gonna have to investigate just out of shear curiousity to see if its “possible” to make that handle slide out a few inches.. this isn’t even for me.. friend of mine might be trying to start his own business, and of course I’m suggesting all Milwaukee stuff (when its the best or very good option). I wanna be able (or i should say, i want HIM to be able) to wheel an organizer around that can also carry a cheap folding plastic table too. Like one of those Lifetime plastic tables.. if that dumb handle would extend 4” - it would be perfect.
And MIlwaukee needs to make some packout pieces that dont need to be disassemble from the stack to access what’s inside.. just one of two drawer options would be nice.. just sayin Milwaukee..
Got new plastic for the original floody to accomodate for the 12ah. The original floody is my most used Big Red Light.
I'll have to find the older threads that has the info but for anyone in the know and can sum it it
What's with the M18 6/9/12ah and the M12 6ah. Are these 3 the *high demand, high output*, aka, more wattage delivery than the latters of the lineups.
I seem to recall blurbiage than the 9AH had more power delivery than the 12 ?
Anyhow, not of the M12 suggest high output, but before buying my Stubby, a youtube video showed 4ah now breaking a bolt loose, but by using the 6ah battery, it did, albit slowly![]()

If a battery could change this rating, they would advertise as such, or only package them with certain batteries.
With that, a larger output battery, is more likely to provide all the power the impact is demanding, but not necessarily increase it's capability.
Maybe I need coffee or going blind

Tools are basically rated for the batteries that they are packaged with.

The way this thing mounts is stupid..

Still complaining about the M18 Rover? LMAO You might be more pissed than I was a year ago.
Trying to FIND a way to mount it so you can actually point it where you want it to go should be a challenge for an IQ test.
I think I'm gonna try to get that 4500 lumen golight I posted anyway.. I'll figure what to do about the stupid cord on that thing too.
I don't use the single rapid charges much as we have the 6 bayer
I did happen to use it the other day with a 12ah
Does it make any slight noise during use ? Or maybe it's a new ~burn in~ on the charger
Nope thats the normal rapid charger buzz/hum.

Thanks!if i were to only buy one, i would get the M18 2861 "mid-torque"
https://www.milwaukeetool.com/Products/Power-Tools/Fastening/Impact-Wrenches/2861-20
were i to get another, i would get the M12 2555 "stubby"
https://www.milwaukeetool.com/Products/Power-Tools/Fastening/Impact-Wrenches/2555-20
these should suffice for 95% of what you will see with most light and mid duty vehicles.
if i regularly ran into things beyond, i would get the 2763 "high torque"
https://www.milwaukeetool.com/Products/Power-Tools/Fastening/Impact-Wrenches/2763-20
i have not used the my high torque since getting the mid-torque. i got a 3/8" "stubby", rather than a 1/2", and while it has been mostly adequate, there are things that are too rusted for it, but the mid-torque has been adequate for that need.
the issue, of course, is that this involves buying into both batteries. the benefit is that the small gun is much lighter with the M12 batteries.
Thanks!
What about the electric ratchet? 3/8 or 1/2?
the snap on cover is YA905, when i bought it last spring, it was 5.20$, now it is 5.40$. snap-on is different than a lot of retailers. *under* 500$ ships free.
https://store.snapon.com/Air-Ratchet-Boots-Boot-Air-Ratchets-Vinyl-P663436.aspx
order online, or call and talk to one of the nice people (and everyone i have talked to at snap-on is nice).
I went 3/8 on the stubby impact and 3/8 on the M12 ratchet. Most of the mechanics I work with have a 1/4” and 3/8” ratchet, I don’t think I’ve seen anyone with the 1/2”.
are we confusing impact and regular sockets?
i had mostly 1/2" impact. (i have a few 3/4" and 1" from a tool box that i bought, but have not added anything.) when i restarted dealing with motorcycles a few years ago, i got some 3/8" impacts and the then current 3/8 milwaukee impact.
i got the 3/8" stubby because i already had the sockets, and they tend to be smaller, which meant it fit in a tighter space.
as for regular sockets, i find myself either using 1/4" or 1/2" almost exclusively. today i used a 3/8" socket because the 1/4" i have didnt go high enough, and the spacing was tight, so i used that wright 3430 ratchet.
were i starting today, i think i might pass on 3/8" sockets, but i am sure that i am a minority of one around here.
I was speaking specifically of what I see more of M12 ratchet wise. The most common is the M12 1/4” ratchet, either the non fuel or the Fuel. Many of the techs I see in the car shops also have the M12 3/8” ratchet. I’ve only seen one tech who had the M12 1/2” fuel ratchet. I wasn’t suggesting anything about the use of 3/8” drive vs 1/2” drive generally.
Don't see these 12.0/6.0 promo packs lasting long at $249.
Also in the holiday section is a rapid charger and 5.0 for $99 which ain't bad. Funny the sign has a regular charger in the picture.
I was hoping for the M18 table saw to come with an extra 12 Ah battery
It does now. The Q4 promos include a free 12.0ah battery with the table saw, chainsaw, new circular saw, and super sawzall kits.
https://www.homedepot.com/p/Milwaukee-M18-FUEL-ONE-KEY-18-Volt-Lithium-Ion-Brushless-Cordless-8-1-4-in-Table-Saw-Kit-with-Free-High-Output-12-0Ah-Battery-2736-21HD-48-11-1812/306638651
I want this to be an in-store offer, we can return the battery to get additional off with the saw. The saw comes with one 12Ah battery. There's an additional 12Ah battery included with the purchase right now, but only seems eligible online for now
So if we buy it and ship it to the store, there is no way to return the extra battery without returning the table saw too?
I was hoping it would be like their past promo where they discount the price of both items so you could return the battery (or free tool).
Home Depot has a good promo package on the original USB rover light. Free battery and dedicated usb charger with the light for the same price.
