With the new 12.0 battery - its seems logical Milwaukee would come out with a larger “closer to full sized” shop vac.. hell, even if you needed to throw 2 batteries in it - worth it.

I think $479 (before other discounts) will be lowest this year (as per Milwaukee's Q4 flyer)

Home Depot might clearance out their Black Friday stock in January or February, just sayin' :D

M18 OK Table saw deal, dont know if it gets any better, unless you got 20% off the kit+free 12.0 which is unlikely for BF.

Mine just shipped out. International has it for $479 with the free 12.0 and theres another $20 off in cart, so shipped for $459 with two 12.0s.

Very interesting with the 2763, I stand corrected there, could've sworn it was in there.

Literally every other tool with a boot has a part number for it in its respective parts diagram, including your 3/8 stubby impact (see item 49).

Yes,my bad,as for my stubby 3/8",I thought the boot was the case in the exploded view.
Thanks

I really want that 2554-20 stubby but I already have a 2454-20.

the extra power and shorter length of the stubby will help but I don't want to get stuck with two 3/8th M12 tools so that is making the decision tough.

I wonder if I can sell the 2454-20 for $50.

Considered getting all my lights retrofitted for the 12AH. I'm gong to pause and pass for now.

For the originally floody, it basically is just to remove the hang bar and 2 pieces of plastic caps/plugs up the hole where the hang bar mounted. I'd prefer to not remove the functional aspect of being able to stick and screw and hang it...the original floody still works dang awesome with the 9

I retrofitted my 2130-20 Rocket light myself, but it really wasn’t nevessary since I grab only have one 12ah and usually grab a 5ah or 9ah for it anyways. At least it’s done and I have the capability. The 12ah looks silly sticking out of it.

YES... I tested that already... I put it on my metal workbench leg.... held fine. "Horizontal" is what I would call it... didn't fall over... didn't slide.

I have not tried using the second magnet in the "pocket clip" yet... Hold on... let me get a drink and test it on the fridge. …. …. …. OH **** !!!! it slides on the Fridge... both positions...

The paint is a lot thicker on the fridge... Slides both postions

5 Drawer HF cart... SLIDES in the "up and down" position but stays horizontal...

Metal leg workbench... stays on both positions... my workbench leg is raw steel with a light coating of paint...

Paint thickness is not the issue, metal thickness is. Magnets can only hold so much for the thickness of metal behind them. I have some rare earth magnet hooks rated for 65 pounds. On my refrigerator they are ok, but on my welding table legs they snap on in such a way they could cause injury if your finger was in the way.

My garage has a steel door... same issue as the fridge... SLIP slides both directions. Yea I guess my work bench legs are pretty thick.

Well... this is annoying... not that I wanted that feature... but now I'm annoyed.

I've been pinched by rare earth magnets... it can ouch.

No pictures but grainger has some deals going on.... Free 12.0 battery with select kits. such as the chainsaw kit, the large grinder kit, the new super sawzall, the 7-1/4" saw...

Picked up the chainsaw. figured for 429 with two 12.0 batteries, it was a bargain considering I was going to pick up the bare tool chainsaw eventually... (299)

That's a deal breaker on the Rover light for me. I have plenty of small lights. The magnetic variant would be the buy clincher for me. Non standard 18650 was the other semi deal breaker prior to the ~deal~

This is exactly true, magnets need ferrous mass to work optimally. Mag-drills don't like thin sheet metal, they need thick metal to keep them firmly seated.

Refrigerators today use the thinnest metal possible to reduce costs, that a magnet even works on them at all is a wonder.

How do you like that rotary tool? I've been looking at that one to replace my corded Dremel tool.

Have not used it yet... gimmy a day... will come back and report... I need to do a few "Dremel" things and will give this one a test. I truly didn't need it... I have like 5 dremels… battery, corded, vacuum powered... but it's RED and matches my other power tools...

I will say... it seems shorter in length than my battery dremels… I will do a complete review... in a day or so.

I use rotary tools A LOT...

You will use the M12 rotary A LOT now, probably the most. Only time you will use the traditional Dremel is if you need to use the whip attachment.

The flexible shaft fits the Milwaukee too, right? It looks like the end unscrews to accept attachments.

I have both a corded and cordless Dremel. Hoping to replace the cordless one with the Milwaukee someday since I have waayyyy more M12 batteries than Dremel (and higher capacities).

I have Dremel (Craftsman branded) accessories that do fit fine under the endcap, but not sure on the flexible shaft. I thought that it might not for some reason, but I don't have that anymore, as I use the one my beefier Rotozip.

I thought they had made an m12 fuel version already

I always think a brushless model is better, but if they increase the size of the rotary tool similar to the size increase of the M12 ratchets, I don't think it will be nearly as enjoyable to use. I actually think the current unit has more than enough power for most any task. With that, I wouldn't mind seeing seeing a Fuel model. Nor would I mind seeing a smaller one using their single 18500 cells. Occasionally I pull out my 4v Craftsman for jobs I need very low power on

Which M18 Fuel impact driver should I get?

Also, might be in the market for a new impact wrench, and would love suggestions on that also.
