I heard in 3 years Milwaukee is releasing nuclear fission powered tools.
M-aton batteries?
M-atom batteries?
M-radon batteries?
Hmmm naming contest time...

Honestly why they don't make it a reactionless stop though
Thinking to pick up an m12 stubby, but can't decide to go with 3/8" or 1/2".
My understanding is that the original organizer guess we will call it the "old one"is not compatible with the newly released packout system.
Kind of a raw deal IMO...
Though they WILL stack lock with each other
Just as an FYI for any one interested I do have one of them. I feel it is a very nice and SOLID box for $20 dollars and the quality beats most other "orginizers" though the storage compartment bins are quite large and really are aimed at volume. Such things as small plumbing parts Ells and T's of various sizes, EMT parts, wire connecters etc. small PVC, Nylon barbs and connectors, Various LARGE amounts of drywall or deck screws, metal roofing or self tappers. Carriage bolts etc.
For SMALL parts storage in small amounts it just doesn't work that well.
But take some bins out and you can customize the case and fit a tool in there also![]()
I'm really thinking about getting the rolling packout system for work. How are they compared to Ridgid or the new Craftsman at lowes
I agree. I mean I love my Dewalt tools but Milwaukee did a much better job designing the Packout system.
My take on it is to get the 3/8". Since that's the size range you would use a little impact like that. The sockets are all smaller, and that might get you into a space that's slightly to tight for use with 1/2" sockets. That being said it's not a lot of difference, so if you already own a lot of 1/2" impact sockets and no 3/8" sockets then the 1/2" is probably the better choice financially.
Good purchase Mike, used my stubby yesterday to swap wheels
Things I noticed in the CPO 11% sale on limited items. These prices are before the 11%..
Old organizer is 18.99
M18 stick light is 48.99
M18 dry wall cut out tool is 76.99
M18 non fuel hackzall is 83.99
M12 non fuel 1/4 ratchet 85.99
M18 Fuel sawzall 139.99
But then I saw a 3/8" stubby with the Astro Pneumatic nano sockets and now I'm re-thinking everything. Still haven't bought a stubby, but I'll probably cave at some point.
Oh man my work days are winding down with the colder weather and also coming into the holidays so all my tools come home. Now my pet peeve with Milwaukee is that dang white paint for lettering wears off fast, and anyone that uses them on the job pretty much knows that. I thought about leaving them just all red...but naw
Got me a paint pen and just did them all over. Some had no white left on them at all!

Milwaukee makes white paint pens

while i already had 3/8" impact sockets, i did go ahead and buy those nano 3/8" sockets when i bought the 3/8" stubby.
it is like a whole different world with that combination. . . . . .
Finally got a chance to use the inflator for more than 1 tire. Performed well, aired up 4 trailer tires from around 23psi to 35psi on half a 4ah battery and also 4 from about 28 to 40psi on another 2bar 4ah battery

I was looking for milwaukee branded. Being that I realize they do not exist, is Astro the brand you would recommend?

Does anybody have any experience with the Milwaukee service centers ? I dropped my m12 fuel drill off a week ago the Chuck was frozen and would not budge. I'm just curious of a time frame since this is my first time doing this
