What is that thing? A heat gun?

Here's my priciest Milwaukee tool. 10 ton knock out kit was ~1500 new, you got the 2"-4" punch kit too but it's not pictured.

So who in this thread has the back pack vacuum and what do you think of it?
My wife really wants one of the cordless dysons to get dust bunnies and dog hair out from under the furniture on tile and hardwood. in my experience dyson has gone way down hill since my first “pet special” dyson 10years ago, the new ball style dyson my wife just had to have last year absolutely *****, and not in a good vacuum way, compared to our old one that she gave away. Can’t see myself paying $300 for another POS dyson, especially if the Milwaukee backpack is up to snuff
Shark makes some vacuums/attachments specifically for this task.So who in this thread has the back pack vacuum and what do you think of it?

Nice work. I hoped you don’t need to warranty you tool they might give you a hard time about the seal being broken.
I'm not sure if anything changes when it's opened. It wasn't apparent to me that there was a seal of any type. There is a magnetic strip inside, like an anti theft device.

I wonder if they would notice that the serial number is for a pin detent, and the tool itself is now a friction ring.
I admit I would find it pretty funny if they just replaced it with a new one that was pin detent . . . .. but I bet you wouldn't.
Not that long ago, I picked up one of the Home Depot $150 mid torque kits and yesterday I swapped the pin detent anvil for the friction ring anvil. It was no problem at all. I read that the polyurea grease may not play well with others, so I just moved the grease from the old anvil to the new.
I just picked up the mid torque kit for $135 from HD today and now I'm trying to figure out the best place to pick up the new anvil. I've seen it several places just hoping someone can point me in a reliable direction.
Many vacuum in US *****, including Dyson. Example, all US vacuum sold for home use has the exhaust blowing down in front of the vacuum. That just means it is blowing away dirt before the dirt can be sucked into the roller. So basically you just pushed the dirt to a different place.
If you wants a real vacuum,in my opinion Meile is the brand. Or find a vacuum that does not have the exhaust pointed at the path of the vacuum.

I got mine from this guy on eBay - ordered it on Friday and had it on Monday.
Well there's no M12 tools for sockets that are left to buy.
I just bought one of the Cordless Dysons, the V7 Animal, and it's been great.
5+ year Meile owner (wife is the user). Great vacuum, well worth the money.
What do you think of the original ratchets vs the fuel versions? They seem a lot bigger and heavier but I went with fuel for more power.
I don’t like the bigger head on the fuel. Don’t need the extra power I’m fine with knowing it’ll fit anywhere

Anyone have a good way to hide or turn off the light on the M12 heated gear? It attracts too much attention. I have a piece of electrical tape covering it.

Finally using my m18 fuel sawzall I love it I did however have my blade come out while cutting after I put it in again it was fine.. need to get upgraded batteries I’m still using the stock XC 5 which is what ah?
I can't tell if that is a serious question? But the answer is 5ah.
Funny how I've wanted Milwaukee to integrate an dedicated light into the jacket.
What kind of attention are you getting that you don't like, or is it more from a theft aspect?
I went into a fast food place and the first thing they looked at was the red light on the jacket

Should have told them it just means your jacket is recording.![]()

I've learned to just turn it off before entering whatever store or restaurant I am headed into.Sometimes I'm fine with the light announcing here I am. But there are a lot of people who feel the need to tell me that my hoodie has a light on it. It gets annoying explaining that it's a heated hoodie to multiple people every time I have it on in a public space.

Everyone thinks I’m a wuss when I turn it on and it’s in the 50s or above.
Haha. Just kidding. The light is pretty bright and it’s the first thing people see. I’m getting tired of explaining it. I think I can design a cover that snaps into place. I’ll print it out tonight and post it tomorrow.
Had a reason to use the M12 oscillating multitool today, damn its so much better than my old corded Bosch unit.
Worked an absolute treat.
