Thanks guys! Better to have the heated layer closer to the skin and then add insulation on top if needed?

Great after I amassed a bunch of HO 6.0s thinking nothing new would come.... few HO 8.0s and I would completely ditch my HD 9.0s.
CP- Compact (3 cells in M12, 5 cells in M18)
XC - Extended Capacity (6 cells in M12, 10 cells in M18)
HD - High Demand (15 cells in M18)
HO - High Output (New gen cells in M18)
I like how they finally put numbers on all the packs.
M12 CP 1.5, 2.0, 3.0
M12 XC 3.0, 4.0, 5.0
M18 CP 1.5, 2.0
M18 CP HO 3.0
M18 XC 3.0, 4.0, 5.0
M18 XC HO 6.0, 8.0
M18 HD 9.0
M18 HD HO 12.0

Picked up the 2771 transfer pump this afternoon and for my use am disappointed.
I am attempting to get water off a pool cover but it is leaving a significant amount behind, about an inch deep.
Any thoughts on how to scavenge more of the water off the cover?

This might be a stupid question, but is the cover laying flat? Throw a brick or something with some weight on top of the cover, and create a low spot to act as the bottom of a well, and place your pickup hose in that.
Little giant pumps...they have two types...LL means low level which is what you want....they come with a float switch and flat bottom piece that sits on the cover. The weight creates a depression and **** out everything.
They are pricey...should last 6-7 years...then the float craps out...which can be replaced...
The one you want is Little Giant 5 AP CP pool cover pump...about 143 on Amazon.

I’m not buying anymore batteries Milwaukee - blow me
what are the opinions of the new M18 fuel jib saw 2737b? it seems to sell for twice what the non-fuel M12 2445 sells for. . . . . is it twice the saw?
I’m sure they’re better, but not better enough
My thoughts exactly.. in 2 years they’ll be marketing a 18.0 for their friggin ride on tractor

Haha, my thoughts exactly. I’d love to stock up on the new batteries but I need to wear out my current stash first, and that’s not happing anytime soon. Milwaukee battery packs are damn stout.
Stoked on the new CP 3.0. I use my 2.0s a ton and I’ll definitely be getting whatever HO CP exists when the 2.0s die.
The HD 6.0s are ******* batteries IMO. Just as big as the 9.0s but don’t have the run time of them. I’m sure they’re better in very high demand situations but not better enough for me to wanna get em. Now the 8.0s are where it’s at. I bet they’ll exceed the performance in almost every way compared to the 9.0s. But they’re no 5.0 size wise. The new XC batteries are basically 9.0 sized. A run of the mill XC5.0 is TINY compared to them. “How much better can they be?” is what I keep asking myself. My 2.0s, 5.0s, and 9.0s just keep going...
I’m sure they’re better, but not better enough.
Stoked on the new 6” grinder too. Definitely picking that up [emoji1690]
Today I did a little unscientific run time test with a knock-off battery just to see how it really compares to the real deal. The battery in question is a Vanon branded M12 XC4.0 and I put it in my M12 Rover fresh off the charger and left the light on "high" until it started flashing letting me know the battery was almost dead. Got just over 2 hours. Then I did the same test with a genuine XC4.0 and got 3 hours 45 minutes.
The knock-off batteries usually work fine, but just realize the amp-hour number they put on it is probably bogus. But it was only $25 brand new, so I'm not upset about it.
I was also impressed by the battery life out of the real XC4.0. If my math is right, it should have only gotten 3 hours according to Milwaukee claims of getting 4.5 hours out of a XC6.0 on high.
But you know that will be pretty cool to have though... How badass wpuld it be for a Milwaukee Fuel riding lawnmower?
I've had to send two of my three 9.0s in...one thing's for sure...the packaging is nothing but heavy duty![]()
What happened to them? They flat out died or you realized they were not putting out full power? I have often thought some of my 9.0s were not operating at 100%. The old 6.0 probably showed the issues more thats why it never came out, they needed to have a 9.0 in the market so it was still released and maintained despite any issues.
Really believe they are going to kill the 9.0 by the end of 2019, especially with that XC HO 8.0 coming out.

have they discontinued any batteries though? you can still get 1.5AH in kits, even though there is a 2AH battery . . . . .

There was only 1 acting up. It'd show, say, 3 bars then after 10 seconds of use on my grinder it'd die and flash a single bar. Put it on charger and within a few seconds it shows 3 bars.
The charger would also then flip to solid green (full charge) but even then it would only reflect 3 bars. Now that ALONE could just mean the 4th LED failed but given the weird behavior above that's NOT the only problem
edit: their shipping "kits" apparently only come as shown, with provisions for 2. They're specific that if only mailing one battery leave the second empty box in place
