Eh - on second look I’m guessing an electrician really doesnt have a lot of small hand tools to be locking up anyway.. I’m guessing thats why they opted for 1 drawer. Some fold out hook on the side for a 6’ step ladder might have been appreciated.
The ladder is typically hung from the end opposite the handle, usually a piece of Unistrut that is screwed to that side, open side up.
The sparkies on the commercial jobs I have been on usually have a surprising amount of tools and hardware in the top part, and they almost ALWAYS have some sort of tool cart.
I would be concerned about the long term durability of this cart, and loosening up at all of those screw points. The Rubbermaid carts are pretty indestructible, this Milwaukee one would have to almost drive itself. The Harbor Freight version is nice, but the loose handle section always irritates me.
The V notch is nothing special, one of the Rubbermaid type carts already have them, or they are cut in by the user. I know that someone makes an electrician specific Rubbermaid type cart with the holes in the legs for wire spools.
Milwaukee used to make two or three versions of a plastic structural foam trades cart that was pretty slick, and expensive. It was probably too big in size for most typical commercial work, and hauling it around.
