Worth trying. Technically, i dont think they are not suppose to stack discounts - but that will all depend on who you get at the register, or the manager. What’s the worst they can say? No?

I haven't opened my new trimmer yet, but wondering what people have done to disable the secondary safety switch. Spot of super glue?
I also haven't seen it asked, but has anyone tried using two extensions?![]()

Looking at a mid torque on craigslist, it's listed as NEW. If I get it can I still register it for warranty? Or do you have to have a store receipt to do that?
Ed
Their are some videos on instagram with 2 extensions and the pole saw at the end. Looked pretty sturdy.![]()
There must be some power loss with each extension and extra load on some mechanism.
The guy in the video just had his warranty voided LOL
Would like to hear the official Milwaukee take on more than one extension.
IDK, the Milwaukee and ego ends looks exactly the same. Thinking ego attachments might fit.
Just received my Quik Loc string trimmer and hedge trimmer attachment. Alot heavier than my existing Troy bilt core trimmer, but hopefully will get used to it. Just used a drop of epoxy to glue the stupid safety switch down. The safety button still has to be depressed, just not the extra switch, in the switch.
What’s wrong with safety switch. Just press it once and forget about it. At least that’s how mine works. You don’t have to hold it and the throttle to keep it going at all times. Just press it and keep finger on throttle and your good.
Do you have the 2nd Gen? There is a 2 part safety switch on the new model. I dont like the feel of it, and also glued mine.
Yes. Got both. New gen and old gen.

Hopefully they do, it's only possibility left. I looked at the Ryobi & Echo attachments at HD yesterday, and they are both a square drive system. There were no Ego attachment trimmers available for me to try out.
I am contemplating purchasing the Milwaukee trimmer, just wondering would it be possible to install a cutting blade for small twigs / bush. I have a larger brush-cutter but this would be more convenient and user friendly for the gf. Has anyone tried or no way to attach the blade?
Thanks, Jon
Does anyone have some real world experience with the M18 8-1/2" table saw?
I consider wood a four letter word but on occasion I have to work with it. I currently have a Hitachi 10" table saw and it fills all my needs for a table saw. Sam moving my entire shop almost 1000 miles and I'm thinking I may leave the Hitachi behind for my son as he just bought his first house.
I'm thinking that with my limited use of a table saw, a cordless saw would be great. I'm not sure about going from a 10" saw to a 8-1/2" saw. Since I'm building a new house and shop I don't need much of an excuse to justify a few new Red tool purchases.
So who has this saw and what do you think of it?
Buddy was over and taking about vac attachnents.
V1 wet dry vac fits M12 3" cutter dust port but not the 2732 circ saw dust port.
V2 wet dry vac does not fit M12 3" cutter but fits the 2732 saw port.
WTF Milwaukee can't you use one size dust port on all tools. Forgot to check the M18 palm sander...

Man, those 12s are huge. What are you going to lug that around in?
It would be good for a saw/vac/light, tho.
I never realized how big those 12.0 batts were. That puts it into perspective.
And I thought my 9.0 was huge. LOL
My friend complains about the 6.0/12.0 because you have to remove the belt clip/hanger from drills & impacts for the battery to fit.
That's a deal breaker for me on those tools - the belt clip/hanger is much more important to me than the battery. When I'm working on something, I can remove the bolt with the impact in one hand, hold the part with the other hand, hang the impact on my pants with the first, then use both hands to finish the job. Same in reverse - hold the part with one hand, start bolt with the other and then reach down and grab the impact and fasten it.
Not having to think about setting it down, having to walk for it, drop it, pick it up, etc is super valuable to me. When I use others tools, the lack of the clip is really frustrating.
