The price hikes are due to tariffs. The money goes from the consumer to the government, not Milwaukee.

The pricing started getting wild before the tariffs, so they aren’t the sole reason. I also find it highly unlikely Milwaukee is operating of razor thin margins [emoji23]

I predict Fuel multi tools surprise release after Fall and the mower and/or new OPE surprise announcement Q12020.

Shocked no Fuel multi tools there now, what other sure bets were not there today? There has to be at least 5 secret packout things they aint showing.

At least the only new lights are a $1000 thing I dont need and V2 head lamps, guess the V1 headlamps sucked for some reason, my AA one is fine.

The M18 Router is showing soon...

Word is...

There are NO OUTDOOR TOOLS

How many tools were released after NPS18, and before NPS19. I wonder what items we will see this year, I feel like they missed the ball on a few key items. I would really like to see a smaller chainsaw, Fuel multi tool, and laser level(indoor and outdoor).

I want to say it was 3-5 things plus the whole new OPE system.

My understanding is that they are showing off 100 new products today and that is the most they have ever shown... I am not certain if all 100 will be made public, its possible that some are shown off in a separate area/room at the event with a giant signs saying no pictures/not for public consumption / NDA

Not very many, there were the little single cell lights, the batteries, the outdoor stuff which needed to be released in season, and some hand tools. There was stuff like the 7/16” impact, and hydraulic pump, but that’s more heavy industrial or highly specialized stuff that doesn’t really fit with the more mainstream stuff they show off at NPS. I don’t remember anything power tool wise that was geared towards the general population.

Oh yeah also bullsh!t no USB battery tools (not lights) announced.

So freaking simple to make a mini screw driver that takes that battery, duh they had it in M4 and Nicad before that, WTF

Yeah, I think a little screwdriver and the fuel multitools were the biggest misses. I wouldn’t be surprised to see a little screwdriver come out for the holidays though.

There was also the sprayer system, the big rotary hammer, threaded rod cutter, and 6" grinder.

VCG just did a live stream and was asked about the mower, he said he has a reason why there was no announcement today, but he can't tell us. Maybe he's being clickbaity as he is a lot of the time, or maybe there is some stuff that is still under an NDA and will be announced later.

I’m thrilled, just saw a quick video from NPS with the m12 right angle die grinder. Take my money already!
I can't see that battery lasting long on those kind of tools.. Like grinders, buffers, polishers, blowers.. All these seem to draw tons off battery juice.. Dont know the science of why??

Right angle die grinder in October... there is a STRAIGHT one too... a few months later...

I want BOTH.

Gonna look at the multihead tool too. For my go bag.

Gotta review the other M12 tools... not sure there was another that interested me.

Long reach ratchets... no
Torque wrench... hello no $599

I use my polisher all the time with a 3amp hour and a 6amp hour... not one single battery issue. It lasts well beyond the length of the task.

Also have a blower... but it's yellow and 20v... lasts my whole 1/2 acre front... with lots left over.

Saw the M18 fish tape puller. That will be on my wish list.
I wonder if they can make a cordless conduit bender? That would be neat.
Still need an electrical wire stapler (similar to the dewalt)

Any videos of the M12 cordless cable stripper?

Then why don't you actually TEST the tool before badmouthing it with zero experience beyond... "oh it must not work"... based on what? what experience do you have with these tools?

I am not a minute man... I do things till the task is very complete... If I do 4 headlights without changing the battery... that's a success... If I cut the rust on a park bench on a 3amp battery... that's a task. People have never looked at me and said... how many minutes... that is a ridiculous standard... it's based on USE... it finishes the task... that's all that matters.

I have actual experience with them. Stop trolling.

That "childs" blower... do you own one? bet you don't... bet you have no idea how good it even works. Again... zero actual experience.

Big tool syndrome I bet... compensate much?

Has anyone caught a price for the M12 RA Die Grinder?

Also, from the presentation I watched on the torque wrench, it wasn't clearly stated that the motor will only put out 60ft/lbs. It was almost implied that it would go to 150ft/lb. I'm inclined to believe no, but with how damn bulky it is I could see it being possible. It would also justify the price more.

At that price point it's not really a consumer tool, but it would be worth it for a shop tool. Especially since it records the torque. If it goes up to 150, I'm definitely ordering one for my line

I saw one post for the die grinder that said $169 and a few others that said price not announced yet.

On the tape, aside from rewinding it back with the battery....the few times I've used tape on big wire/pipe/etc......it's always sometimes a 2 way shake (one pulls, another helper shakes the cable), to deal with the bends.
