I believe that is the 2018 BF ad.
Yes, my bad, but that set is expected to be on sale for that price again from people with inside knowledge.

It's been at that price for the last 2 years so it's not a hard guess to make.
I know its been talked about but... I finally about to pull the trigger on a M12 Stubby 1/2 Impact Wrench 2555 ...to do some light tire removal ...Do I get the regular one or the one with the detent pin ?

Home Depot here finally has pack out boxes. Had a 3 piece kit for $279 I was very tempted.
Anyone have issues with the forward/reverse switch on their Milwaukee tools?
My M12 Fuel impact is fine (switch works as expected) but the M12 Fuel hammer drill is another story. It occasionally needs an additional press (2 total instead of 1) to go from the lock to forward or reverse. That extra press is smaller in travel but sometimes requires even more force. It's annoying because I'll think I'm in reverse but nope it's locked.
Man I started using that new Gen 3 impact driver they give me free out on my last few jobs. Cant get over just how compact it is, even with a 2 inch bit inserted the entire length is only as long as to the collet on my old 2453 M12 Fuel![]()
This set that's even less at Farm & Fleet?

Yes. If it was that price I probably would have bought it.
I don't like this trend because the battery is sticking out past the front of the impact driver with a short 1/4 magnetic driver installed.
I really like the M18 Surge tool, but I keep hitting the battery and I don't like longer driver bits if I don't really need one.

Darn it the 2 pack of M12 compact 3.0's was on sale at HD for $56.13. Sold out already online.

Was that a "Deal of the Day"?
Just picked up a fuel hammer drill and 3/8" impact wrench with 2 5ah batteries yesterday for $150

Nice, that's one heck of deal! That's used I assume? If new, where?
I paid $150 for my 3/8" compact, new with a CP3.0 battery just last month. Stuck the CP3.0 batt on my drill & to free up a 5.0 batt for the 3/8" impact. I know the M12 3/8" stubby is more powerful but I don't have very many M12 batteries & don't feel like buying any. Plus I think the stubby looks funny.
Yes, they were used. Found them on Facebook marketplace and met the seller yesterday afternoon. No charger, but I have 3 already, and no handle for the hammer drill. but all good for the price.

No wonder those dual pack CP 3.0 for $56 sold out so quickly.

Geez I have never bought just batteries alone in all my Milwaukee Tool time so far, (always had enough "free" offers) but DANG I would have bought THAT DEAL!![]()
I had 3 from powerextra i bought off amazon.. they all worked fine, but 2 of em just died on me. Not sure how old they were, or what happened (they may have just discharged a little too much from sitting after i used them) - and I’m not gonna pretend i work those things everyday. I just bought em as cheap extras since when i use those tools its usually just a few minutes..
If i used those professionally and need to rely on them somewhat - I wouldn’t buy aftermarket as the bulk of my battery supply. But they are worth having to avoid swapping batteries from one tool to the next - even if they just last 2 years IMO.. i mean really - they are half the price if you buy real m12’s on ebay, and 1/4 the price of full retail. The convenience of having them outweighs the gamble of them dying early - for me anyway. Your opinion may differ. If the chance of them dying after a year or two isnt worth it in your eyes, dont buy them.. but if youre not a guy running full batteries down everyday at work driving hundreds of screws - or just want 2 extras to keep in a flashlight or a saw - i think its worth picking up a few. Its not like you’re taking a big risk with $$, its $25 for TWO.
But no, none of them have leaked if thats what you mean by venting. Couple other guys have some aftermarket packs on here as well. From what i remember i think they were happy with them - but I’m pretty sure nobody cared about a side -by - side runtime test when they bought theirs either. I’m positive they arent ‘as good’ as real ones - but ‘good enough’ for the price.

Hey there guys and gals![]()
Check out this video I just gleaned of a FB page for Milwaukee users...
Is this an honest review on the new angle die grinder?
And I see Milwaukee Tools contacted the user about the video already
My only question can anyone say if that is the proper sized wheel? I have seen some expecting to use 3" when the manual recommends 2"
