Anyone have the M12 750 lumen spotlight?
https://www.homedepot.com/p/Milwauk...12-2-0Ah-Battery-2353-20-48-11-2420/305881466

I don't have a spotlight at home and have been considering this if a good deal comes along.

Love this light for hunting. Small and light but super bright for tracking and spotting my fields. Anyone who has been around when I have it out is amazed at how bright it is. Not a good light for setting up behind you while working though, the beam is too concentrated.

I have the M12 spotlight and I like it.

Ya ya its not MEGA LIGHT by no means and there always in these threads someone to pipe up and compare out some little M12 unit to some Humungo 18V item

It is lightweight and small and has a decent concentrated beam. It my general emergency light especially for when there's a big storm and have a possible need to check something outside...around the yard or inspect my house roof/siding in the dark

So ya if you think you need it buy it...but personally like in my first post comment I can't believe the price in the link provided. It is not a $100 light even with free battery by no means. Was $79 for like forever often had a battery promo attached was often a free tool and what more can I say.

And if was pressed I would buy the M18 pivoting spot and flood combo for same money that used to be a $99 light (but no telling what it now :eyecrazy:) And I do eventually want one of those.

These tarrif price increase are complete ********

I picked up this inflator and 5VDC power source at HD for $79. I thought that it was a good deal considering the cost of buying the individual components separately.

That looks like a good setup, I want one of the 12v chargers for my car. I think the inflator really needs an XC battery though. I went to use my inflator with a 2.0 battery when it was fresh out of the trunk of my car when it was below freezing, the compressor was running at half speed. I changed to a 6.0 battery and it ran normally.

I've used both compact and extended. No indifference, but it was really only used for 2-3lb top off.

It definitely has changed how I top off tires during the weather/seasons.......versus either dragging the hose or connecting my via air to the battery leads ! It's a great inflator.

I would not mind seeing a M18 just because I have ALOT more batteries in that platform

Buddy came by to pickup my old jobsite radio charger. Was pointing out the usb/battery box flaws on the packout radio, and like everyone else he says yeah that's f'in stupid.

Definitely going to have to make a hole in the door to pass out a USB cable, but it just creates a new problem, where to sit/rest the phone/device when charging. Also my phone is USB-C and yet I still need micro to charge the USB lights, think I have an adapter.... but where to store the adapter when not in use lol

You could just take the thing apart and swap the connector for a USB-C on the circuit board if you want. Might need to file the casing just a tad but it isn't too hard to do if you want to unify on a single connector. You can also always just carry a spare cable.

Heh me and my buddy replaced all the kitchen cabinets in his rental apartment yesterday.

He had all his tools and had a Craftsman OMT that was quite similar to the M12 version. We needed to make some outlet access cuts in one lower base unit. He's cutting away with it and just stops

Yup the battery vibrated loose :D

You can buy a triple head USB cord that has all 3 options. There are ones with 3 separate ends and there are ones with 3 different cap adapters on the single end. Amazon sells them

Same here. It was an impulse purchase from Home Depot, the same $79 setup as posted above with the CP2.0 battery, wall charger and power source. I sold off the battery and extras so the inflator only cost me about $45 or so. Well worth the price. Much easier than getting the compressor going and dragging air hose all over the place. I'm using an old 1.5AH M12 battery and it has no issues with topping off a few PSI. Seriously handy to have.

Anyone with a car NEEDS that inflator. Not only is it a pain to get out the compressor, that bending/squatting stuff is hard on us old dudes. But the inflator is so cool that my son in law will grab it out of my hands just to use it. Win win

I still use this maybe 20 year old 18volt Sawzall around the house for an occasional tree root or limb.
It's just too bad their tools don't have the MADE in USA embossed on the rivet attached metal I.D. tag anymore.

Nice deal, I picked up that inflator only for about the same price here in Canada. However I ended up returning it and buying the DEWALT 20V inflator instead because it seems to be somewhat quieter and faster. Srry for letting down red fans :)

But no, I'm not here to promote yellow, I happen to have picked up a few red toys too recently:

The chalkline has some good reviews, I like the fact that is comes with red chalk for good visibility. Stapler proves to be nice for stapling down house wrap so far.

ACME TOOL is doing 14% off sale for today if anybody's looking for a savings on something.

Not exclusive to Milwaukee either.

I just got back from a farm sale that well used 18v drill and grease gun sold within $20 of new price. With this 14% off sale it would have been cheaper to buy new. Go figure

Wow! :eyecrazy:

I don't know if that's good to know or what :wtf:

Hmmm and here I was hoping to get 50% of what I paid. :pimpflash

I was thinking about future plans to maybe try to turn over the majority of my oldest tools and some batteries (all still good but long out of warranty) on the second hand market, probably at my flea next to my tent sales of new tools and replacing them with like a volume purchase of one of the big kits maybe on a percentage off special...you know like they sometime do those deals with an added extra tool like an impact wrench or a couple of XC batteries :D

That stapler has been one of the best investments yet. I don’t use it all the time but is so handy when needed.

I picked up the stapler recently on a HD sale, first M12 tool and really liking it. So fricking handy to not need to string out an airline for something quick...but if I was going to do something staple intensive will likely use pneumatic just as it's faster

I have never had the stapler let me down. The bump fire mode works plenty fast for me.

That's my Craftsman to Milwaukee story too, except I'm just a little behind in my acquisitions. I only have three M18 hand tools, two M12 hand tools, two M18 outdoor power tools, and a PackOut set-up.

I'm another C3 refugee, and have to say the Milwaukee stuff served me well this weekend. The M12 Surge and the FUEL 3/8" ratchet made light work for a lot of the full-cooling system replacement I did on my oldest spawn's X5, and the Hood and Rover lights were fantastic. You can work fast when you can see... ;)

How does Milwaukee know you used an aftermarket battery?

It's entirely possible there's a reference pin of some kind that identifies a non-genuine battery has been used. There's definitely some code running between the battery and the tool (temp management, etc.).

You made a good switch. I made the switch from everything cordless being yellow a little over a year ago. All it took was one tool purchase and I fell hard. I was walking through my local HD and saw a M18 Mid Torque with 5ah battery and charger for $150. That started the switch. Dumped all my yellow on Craigslist and went on a red buying spree. Two and a half Packout sets and a garage attic full of Milwaukee boxes later and I couldn’t be happier. Plus it makes since for me and my dad to have the same battery platform since we do side jobs together, at least that’s what I tell myself.

Couple tools a month and you might catch up with Kctyphoon in a couple centuries.
