I have a couple of pics of some dismantled tools. It's amazing how much space is save by eliminating the brushes.

Hey everyone, don't post too often but had asked a few questions on impacts before I bought my 2767 high torque impact in january.

I have had it for a bit now and Have to say I love it! Use it for my farm equipment and takes a lot of the work out of repairs on tillage equipment/wagon tires etc. Even used it to tighten a disc harrow gang that needs 700 ft/lbs and it got it tighter than I can with my long bar and cheater pipe. And that's with a adapter to 3/4 drive.

Also really love the 2780 grinder, use it a lot out in the field with a wire wheel etc or cutting wheel it's handy for the quick cuts. Chews through batteries pretty quick but I expected that, have a 9.0 and 2 5.0 batteries, wouldn't mind another 5.0 or 9.0 cause I don't usually have a charger nearby and having lots of batteries is handy.

Also have the 1/2 inch stubby impact and it's a little powerhouse, haven't used it as much as I thought yet but It was still a good buy.

Hoping to get a vaccum and drill/driver set but have to wait for a while, can only justify so much on tools at a time lol.

Just a bit of a review in case anyone else is wondering about these tools might help with buying decisions

my 2722 m18 super sawzall sometimes shuts down while I'm using it, the trigger stops working. It's fixed by removing and reinserting the battery. Anyone else have this happen? It feels like a software glitch in the controller but who knows

Is it possible you are overheating the tool/battery or perhaps stalling the saw? Have you tried it with different batteries?

it happens under light use and with multiple different 8Ah and 12Ah batteries. it usually happens after I've ended a cut on my own terms, then I go for another cut ten seconds later and it doesn't go, and goes immediately after a battery remove/replace

My M18 Fuel Bandsaw has always done this too....sometimes thrice in one day, sometimes never. I never got around to really digging into the problem....I just assumed glitchy battery contact, but maybe its more technical than that.

Mine does the same thing. My drill and impact do that sometimes too. Don’t sure what the deal is.

If you have tools doing that to you, it is likely a problem with the tool. The only M18 tool I've ever had to reinsert the battery on is my hammer drill when I was mixing concrete with it and stalled it AND the battery was low/hot from use. If you have an intermittent fault like that, head over to the website and file a warranty claim or exchange it locally where you bought it if you can.

Who here runs the Milwaukee 2830 rear handle circular saw. I want the left blade but am worried about the weight. I have the 2732 blade right saw but the visibility is horrible and it’s heavy also. Just looking for any feed back from experience. I would probably run it with a 8ah instead of the 12ah to make it a little lighter.

What you you guys think. Is that saw a go or no go?

Anyone got some feedback on the Milwaukee weed eater? I’ve got an HD gift card, and was going to buy a weedeater, but the thought of never having to screw with gas, oil, pull-starts, etc, and being readily available by just slipping on a battery, is really sounding good. Already have plenty of batteries, and there’s not much area that I need to weedeat.

I have the rear handle saw and love the thing. I don’t think it’s too heavy but the. Again I tend to run a 3.0 ho battery or if I need the longer run time I will throw in my 5.0 Xc or my 6.0 ho. But by far my favorite is with the 3.0.

I have the older weed eater style not the new one with the interchangeable tools. I love it. Does a great job for me. It has 2 speeds, lower speed still does the job and extends the battery life. Mine came with a rapid charger and a 9.0 battery, but I have run it on a 5.0

Grab the over shoulder strap if you don't already have one that would work.

Has the Milwaukee dremel tool been improved yet?

I want to replace my old corded two-speed Craftsman, but many reviews, even on the Milwaukee web site, are pretty bad. Should I hold off until they come out with an improved design? Any long-term users who have a good experience? This is for home garage use.

You mean the 2460 M12 Rotary tool? I have one that I use exclusively for touch ups on my chainsaw chains and its worked flawlessly for me. I had a cheaper battery powered Dremel before this one and it gave me a lot of trouble, so I picked this one up and its been great.

It's quite a bit bigger than the Dremel so if you're using it for any sort of fine work maybe that makes it less ideal? But otherwise I think its great.

Ah, good idea on the strap

One question.. I have the old model too. What direction does it spin for you guys? I swear it's backwards from every other weed whacker I've ever used, it drives me crazy. It's super strong and works great but I have to hold it opposite of the way I'm used to.

I have both the dedicated Milwaukee Weed Eater and the new Quik Lok Multi Tool System. If you need only a weed eater I would recommend the Weed Eater Only because it's lighter and has less vibration. The Quik Lok is awesome for the Hedge Trimmer and Pole Saw, but is quite heavy and will give you a workout.

I got my Milwaukee grass trimmer one year ago along with the tree limb trimmer (chainsaw) attachment. It is great! It replaced an old gas Stihl. I will not go back to gas & oil. I can trim around everything 4 times before recharging!

Any one else having issues with their 700L usb rechargeable flashlight. My first quit charging, after little use over two months, my replacement battery was bad out of the box. #2 battery was bad out of the box. I realized there is a 2 yr warranty so I await #3 battery from Milwaukee.

Placed my order for the left handed blade “worm drive” saw, 2830-20. Hoping it’s gonna be awesome. Ordered from Acme tool, everything went smooth. Only disappointment is the shipped it with FedEx. Would rather have UPS any day of the week.

+1000x for UPS over FedEx. I can't stand FedEx.

Dang that is bad news! I whenever I ordered the light kit from northern tools I got this flashlight and have been pleasantly surprised. I hope it doesn’t start going downhill.

No, the negative reviews aren't about the size, they are about reliability. Apparently, they are prone to just quit working, lose speed control, etc.

I don't frequent HD much...but was there around President's day looking for masks....

Have also been making daily trips on the way to or way from work. Managed to actually SCORE some masks....

Anyhow, the display boxes, etc, Milwaukees were brimming on Presidents day. Everyday when I pass by the display boxes, it does not look like Red is getting restocked at all......

I wonder how Harbor Freight is doing these days..

I have the same light and have the same issue. Based on the reviews on the web (Amazon, HD, etc.) it appears that I’m not the only who has had this issue. These batteries seem to be ****. There are much better flashlights out there for that kinda $.

Ah I see, well for what its worth mine has worked flawlessly. Take that with a grain of salt though, as I said I use it exclusively for sharpening my chains and Ive had it for <1 year now, so overall it hasn't seen a ton of use.

I bought mine because of the name on it and the success of all the other products I have from them. I bought a second light and It's been fine. I called the factory and they are sending a new battery. I emailed their customer service form in twice from their site and never heard back. I left a sour review on their review site for the 700L and never got a response.

Moral of the story... pick up the phone!

Am I going to have issues drilling 5/16" about 2 in deep holes into solid concrete (basement) with the 2504 (M12 Fuel hammer drill)?

We have this setup and my wife loves it. I prefer to use my gasoline powered Shindaiwa but use the Milwaukee for quick trims.

Ditto, I switched all my OPE to M18 last year and couldn't be happier. I've got a little over an acre, and one 9.0Ah gives me enough juice to weed eat and use the blower to clean everything off. Sooooooooo much better than dealing with the hassle of gas.

It's only good for a cut or two definitely not intended for a tile job.

I used mine to cut a strip out of an existing floor, works good for a one off cut or so.

Can anyone share their experience cutting tile with a m12 cut off. I have a wet table saw but it doesn't leave a great edge. I am thinking I can at least score the surface to get a nice straight line when I put it on my table.

Thanks.

yes, I guess its a known issue. I sent my flashlight back and got a new one. Not sure if it will be different or not?

Anyone here have the M12 5 3/8 circ saw? Thinking about grabbing one to break down sheet goods and 2x material at the big box store. My other option is to go with the 18V Ridgid Octane version. I rarely use my corded circ saw these days now that I have a track saw, but alas it too is corded.

I have one of those. It will cut 2x material without a problem - but not with a 2.0 battery. It cuts out with one of those. It does work great with my 4.0 and 6.0 batteries. Highly recommended by me.
