Did you hit the power button? I just grabbed mine, put a battery in, hit the power button (not the inflate button), and screwed it onto my tire. With the power on, as soon as I screwed it on all the way the display read the tire pressure
Does it function normally for inflating?Yup, tried that with differing batteries and both the tires on my truck and my wife’s SUV. It’s disappointing. Would going to a Milwaukee warranty center be better than calling Milwaukee?
Yes, it works for that; just not targeted inflation goals.Does it function normally for inflating?

For what you described I would go with the RA, it's much more suited for those tasks IMO & is how I use mine. What's everyone's thoughts on the M12 RA die grinder vs. straight die grinder? Planning on using it to strip paint, rust and prep metal for welding. Is there a situation where the RA is more versatile
One issue with an adapter... the company that makes the adapter will NOT warranty your tools if the adapter blows up the tool or battery. So is it really a benefit to have an adapter when you are taking a risk of bricking your battery or melting your tool?I have a bunch of Milwaukee M18 and M12 stuff. I need to buy a Dewalt 20v tool, a nailer. Do you folks know of any adapters for Milwaukee M18 batteries that work well?
I've been using your standard M18 fuel hammer drill & driver set at home for years... and other than mediocre chuck on the drill, I've been happy with them.
So on that experience, when I got to Hawaii, I bought this cheap set:

Milwaukee M18 18V Lithium-Ion Brushless Cordless Compact Drill/Impact Combo Kit (2-Tool) W/ (2) 2. 0Ah Batteries, Charger & Bag 2892-22CT - The Home Depot
Tackle most demanding jobsite applications with Milwaukee M18 Lithium-Ion Brushless Cordless Compact Drill or Impact Combo Kit with Batteries, Charger and Bag.www.homedepot.com
Man... I should have just spent the money and got higher end set like I have at home. The chuck on the drill is not great, the driver is just okay... and both feel like they were made for the home DIY guy and not some guy that is gonna work them out consistently. I can't see either lasting all that long with the way I use them.
My own fault as I'm sure they are fine for most, but... I should have either spent the big money on Fuel or gone m12 for lighter applications.

The fuel is great the non fuel is garbageDammit. I just bought my first red stuff a couple months ago, only the 12v stuff as I have a bunch of Bosch in the 18v. I seen a video of some dude using the 12v 1/4 ratchet...and well that was the start of the "red stuff"
Of course HD up here is now having "Milwaukee Mega Month" with a bunch of great deals......damn this place!!!!
Anyone have the 12v Oscillating Multi-Tool? If so, how do you like it?
Are you asking about the non fuel or fuel multi tool? The non fuel is garbage the fuel is greatlol I have the Fuel stuff, still want to know if the multi tool is any good.
Had the non fuel it overheats on the easiest of cutting or sanding. Wood plastic pvc anything you tried to cut. I constantly had to pull the battery out to reset it. Burnt it up got a new one same issue burnt that one up and got another one and sheared the teeth off the head. Seemed to work best with the xc 3.0 battery fully charged. The fuel is a beast will cut anything and I’ve yet to break it. Overheated a few times but not anywhere close to the non fuel.Ahhhh got ya. I think the one in the offer is the non-fuel. Buy 2 2ah batteries get a free tool. That is one of the options.

I like my Fuel 12v OMT OK, but to be honest, I have not found as many uses for it as I thought I would.
I feel like an OMT is something you find more uses for the more you use it. Also, blades matter. If you use crappy blades or dull blades, you might not think it's doing what it's supposed to do (and it isn't!) but with a good sharp blade, and used properly, they can do things other tools cant.Mine was great for our kitchen remodel: cutting out old backsplash, cutting out baseboard and shoe mold for new floor cabinets, and used it for a bunch of outlet cutouts from the new island to relocating wall outlets
