I've never worn heated gear myself so some feedback. Thankfully I don't have a gut....
The stuff needs to be fairly -well fitted snug- to the point where it's making good contact on chest : back or wherever the heat zones are on that particular piece of clothing.

I can't see how this may work for those with anywhere from a medium----> gut as the waist/vest will need to be larger to accommodate but then then upper may not be making contact.

Anyhow, the M12 vest is pretty neat. Takes about a minute to get heat but once it's going, it's pretty adequate.

Finally a “cordless” shop vac with a 2.5 inch hose. Now I just need to figure out how to stack a dust separator and the m18 power supply on top so I have a small footprint setup.

Any good corded lawnmowers out there?

Finally got my dual battery blower after it got lost on the Fedex truck for a few days.

Initial impressions is that I like the extra punch. Was able to blow wet leaves clear across my pool cover. Dry leaves used to get stuck 3/4 across with the gen 1 and 2 single battery blowers. Enough punch that my arm is slightly tired from a half hour of constant blowing from the recoil. No way am slogging this thing with 2 x 12.0s.

In that 30 min of blowing time I went through 1 2/3 sets of 6.0 batteries.

Sadly, I might need to invest in a fanny pack to carry an extra set of batteries. Any "cooler" options so my neighbors don't think I am even dorkier than I am?

M18 transfer pump finally needs to go in for warranty. Won't turn on. This was last helping drain out my overwhelmed gutter drains that were having trouble keeping up with all of the rain this weekend. This thing doesn't owe me any money. Left outside in the rain, never properly drained, and lubed rarely.

Looks like I only have 4 months left on the 5 year warranty lucky me.

Replaced the 30 amp fuse. Checked the motor wasn't seized. Checked the switch for continuity. Can't tell anything popped on the circuit board. Doesn't look like the circuit board got wet either. Still doesn't turn on.

While the Milwaukee can't compete for heavy duty fall leaf cleanup, I like my M18 blower alot of car drying use.....
I actually would not mind if they made backpack esque battery system. I cannot recall who made it 1st but I think Husq. beat Makita to the punch on the backpack battery

I have so maannny 5.0s. Tried that with the dual blower. After 1 car, about 1 bar left....
On the 9.0, same car, about 3 bars left
Heavy tho.

I was thinking, and maybe wishful, but maybe a M18 decent snowblower will replace the single stager I have.
It won't replace a good old 2 stager with Hydrostatic transmission, but I wouldn't mind having a -Tesla single stage stage M36:M72 or whatever they wanna make it

I'm in for a bandolier! I am guessing someone can make one with a belt and those 3D printed battery holders. Really need to invest in a 3D printer.

The dual blower really likes to eat batteries. The 6.0's last maybe a little over 10 min. Definitely no replacement for the big Stihl backpack blowers although don't miss the exhaust fumes at all.

Also depending on the angle of the underside of the blower relative to the user really drives how much decibels are directed at said user. The housing and the batteries really do a good jump dampening the sound from the user when shooting from hip. Not much more noticeable than the Gen 1 and 2 single blowers.

Would definitely be interested in the decibel ratings at multiple positions in the next blower comparison.

Have been playing around with my new m18 power supply. Only thing it can't seem to power is the 30 gallon air compressor. Just doesn't have the startup capacity to get the motor started. Guess I shouldn't be surprised given that the compressor needs a 20 amp circuit vs the 15 amp rating on the power supply.

Going to see if it struggles with the planer and table saw next time around.

No surprises would also note the power supply is limited by the weakest battery. It will throw an error that one or more batteries is dead. Practically speaking this happens when borrowing a battery and then slapping it on the power supply to charge. Also have some out of balance 9.0s that really **** and am not going to bother putting them on the power supply.

Wishing they squeezed an M12 charger on this given its basically a 4 port M18 rapid charger. Maybe one day I'll zip tie an M12 charger onto it to charge off the power supply.

Think the air compressor itself is in good shape. Works fine plugged into the wall and readily starts. The power supply just can't seem to get the motor going similar to when a circuit is overloaded and doesn't trip the breaker.

This kit was selling for 399 at HD and I figured it was old stock being cleared out. No speed settings on them, basic trigger. But I'm a dealer, and checked the production dates on Milwaukee site just like you fill in a warranty. Backed out once date was shown.
That should be something anyone can do. Click through like a warranty and they check your serial numbers for preliminary yes/no.

That kit is actually kind of interesting. Note the mix of tools. Seems more of a mechanic sort of mix than, say, a homeowner.

I believe it will. It was shipped in the bag, then the outer box. The tapered section of the bag was not used at that point.

The hatchet gets a lot of use. Very effective. But I better not pick up the M18 version in a store. Could be the cute younger sister situation.

I had a Russian girlfriend for a while a few years back. She said the Russians have a saying, date skinny women for love and thick women for work. Sounds like you might need an m12 for the more delicate tasks and an m18 for the more heavy duty stuff? I'm not sure if translates well but that is what she said anyways.

I don't have either hatchet yet and I've been going back and forth on which one I should get. I don't think I have any work that the M12 won't handle that the M18 will. I was mainly thinking of getting it to cut small limbs off larger trees where my pole saw doesn't quite work out.

I have a 18v fuel hackzall with a pruning blade, 5 chainsaws and 2 pole saws. Just keep telling myself I don't need a hatchet and the hackzall doesn't mind the dirt which is a huge plus.
The hackzall cut our Christmas tree down just fine...

I too am trying to convince myself to get by with the hackzall. I think if the M18 hatchet comes up for sale I might have to buy one....

m12 fuel multi tool saved my bacon yesterday. Was trying to cut a circle in sheet metal and I couldn't get my nibbler with the air hose into position for the last 1/4 of the circle due to surrounding obstructions. Changing the angle of the blade on the multi tool was able to get the job done.

I've used it enough to form a consensus......not a fan of the M18 Packout Vac. I use it mainly for cleaning the cars.
Right now, the cars have their winter mats in. It's not weather tech with deep ribs but more a -pebble textured- finish to it,

The vac pickup is -meh- on both both winter and carpet surface mats..
I broke out my Miele Vac to use as it the M18 wasn't doing any good (filter on vac is clean and the canister is empty) using a HO battery

Agreed, it is my 2nd worst milwaukee purchase, bought it thinking it would be good for the cars and I still haven't found a place where it is worth getting out.
