Oh man... How I loathe Houston. It's just too humid for me.
Yes as the plane drops down to the run way there appears to be a 100 lakes, the humidity must be 100% at all times one thinks, which is verified when the plane door opens. Sister lived in Houston, the last place on this planet I would live in, I would not survive either the heat or humidity, that was in April.

The other issue with Houston is no one goes out in the heat if possible with consequences of lack of exercise..... the only place I know of where women have bottoms shaped like spare tires, really painful on the eyes .

I've visited Houston and Austin, multiple times, and I liked both places. Been to Boulder also, only once, but I enjoyed it.

Good luck getting things functional both at home and at the 'office.'

I doubt this has to do w/your new location, but one thing to do as a 'must-do,' when purchasing a new place, is to check with the local, county and state police to see if the address has ever been used for manufacturing and distribution of methamphetamine. If it has, the realtor associate is required by law to divulge the information. It's a fact that the sales person may 'forget' to mention.

One of my So. FL friends is a FL licensed G.C. and several years ago, he bought a lot in Boulder and he built a spec house. I never went to see it, but other friends who did, said it was 'really nice.' He's back in So. FL now, and he's always had boats. Currently he's renovating a 46 ft. Bertram. He likes toys, he always has big motorcycles, and I recall when he owned a Martini & Rossi Porsche 911, just one of his cars over the years.

We're all interested in your progress so please post details and pictures, thanks.
