Gotta say, this is the first time I seen this thread. Bummer, I would have joined.

Yeah me too. If someone doesn't receive their box, I will send you a box o' tools as a backup. I have a lot of duplicates and triplicates (wife says I am a hoarder), some even NIB.

Got my package when I got home from vacation today. btdobie sent me enough stuff for three years worth of Spring cleaning exchanges. First, got a portable propane heater, an air drill, air ratchet and air rotary tool. Looks like my "honey do" list is going to be put on the back burner for the rest of my vacation. Thanks so much!!!!!

I am mailing my package tomorrow, I am upset, because I couldn't find what I really wanted to send, but I think they will be happy.

I sent mine out today and should be there Friday. I received mine today and WOW!!!! Thanks Robert!!!!! I got a whole slew of Wright, SK sockets in all three drive sizes. Some you can see in the picture because they are inside each of the larger size. I also got a 1/2"-3/4" drive adapter and a pocket tire gauge. Thanks again Robert.

Glad you liked them

You're Welcome! I hope you enjoy them. That heater has just been a huge waste of space since I got my furnace installed. It's time that it kept someone else warm.:bounce:

wha, huh? How did I miss this?? Here I was, wondering what I was going to do with the Vega lathe cluttering up my garage, and I've missed my opportunity to send it off to some other poor sap, er, lucky fellow.

aww well, hopefully the PowahhzDatBe will determine this a success and I can jump in next year.

I wouldn't have been able to participate due to the post requirement but, this gives me incentive to post more and hope it happens next year.

I received mine on Friday. ThanksCorndoggeh :rocker:

I received a Sargent #79 rabbet plane. It's the hot ticket to improved wood joinery.

Next is a Yankee #11 screwdriver. The wood handle is super cool.

I got a General Tools circle cutter. I needed this to replace my old one with stripped threads. It even came with an Allen wrench for adjustments!

Next is a Westcraft 6' tape measure. One can never have too many tape measures.

I got a vintage Snap-on 71N 1/2" drive ratchet. The guts were even cleaned and lubricated.

Last but not least is a vintage Husky 1/4" drive socket set. It came in the original steel case. There's even a tommy bar that fits the breaker bar.

I am running behind in shipping stuff out to my victim. It will go out tomorrow.

Big thanks to Ohmthis for victimizing me! He sent a set of metric Craftsman wrenches, a 1/4" and 3/8" Craftsman ratchets, Crescent wrench, and PM and Pratt-Reed screwdrivers! Hopefully nothing went missing as USPS plastic wrapped the package from a tear on the side.

So, at first I thought that I was going crazy, but apparently my gifts are from a mystery person. There was an address on the box, a couple great notes inside, but no name, so hopefully they will own up to it. Thank you to whoever you are. :dunno:

That's a check, Strouty. It was me.

I wasn't trying to be mysterious...well, scratch that I was. I simply misunderstood. I thought this was supposed to be a secret santa/pollyanna kind of thing.

I'm glad you appreciate your "What is it?" item. I gotta say, when I was told I had you I had to rack my brain for something to send a guy with high standards who already has everything he needs.

You did very well. I have to admit, my GF was there when I opened things and she has commandeered the flash light and the knife. She told me that I all ready had enough of both! Thanks again, now I have to post my what is it in it's own thread. The visegrip plier thingy is one of the coolest things ever. Those suction cups will be great for when I do repairs to my iMac, i have some really big ones, but they are a PITA to use in small areas.

I hope to do this again next year, maybe there will be a few more people that join in. At least we didn't have an odd number.

I'm glad you like them, sorry I haven't responded sooner, we are in Florida. The wrench set should be 7mm-21mm, I hope none were lost.

Glad it finally arrived from it's cross country trip. I forgot to include a note, however, my Dad made the bowl. I hope you enjoy.

Looks like the 20mm and 21mm got lost. But that's okay, I still love the set. Perfect to go in my Red and Gray Cman rally box.

I had a couple sockets go missing out of a box someone sent me from the classified section of GJ a while ago. I just got the individual prices for the sockets I lost off Amazon and filled a claim on the USPS website. I got a check a couple weeks later. The process wasn't to difficult.

That is exactly what that is. It is used with the green rubber covered polybars, which when installed are called an "Allegheny" joint, which is the name of the company which manufactures them. It is also used on an older style joint which had many separate pieces of insulation and were a pain in the *** to assemble. There are round pieces of insulation that go with the polybars that fit in the bolt holes to insulate the bolts from the rail.
