I posted this elsewhere, but here is my most recent Tekton haul. I got the 3/8 master set and (2) 1/4 sets in both SAE and metric (One set for the car, the other for the garage). Got the Dead Blow Hammer as well as the Torque wrench.

I have another $400 dollars worth of tools currently saved to my cart, but I’m trying to pace myself, lol.

I ordered the plier divider a while back and so far I like it. I also have a SAE and Metric set of impacts. I’ll admit I use my metric 90% of the time and these SAE sets hardly get used. My only complaint, is the laser ethching on my metric is almost completely gone after 2 years, which is something I wish Tekton would address.

I thought Tekton started stamping the sizes on. May be since you bought yours. I have a few sets of Tekton impacts. A couple are 6-7 years old..... a few are newer.

I live about a mile from the Tekton facility. Been by it many times. Would love it if I could just go there and pick-up my orders.

I don't know when they started also stamping the sizes on the impact sockets, but it's been several years. You can verify by looking at their website as they show this

I just ordered a Tekton tool stamping set to address the issue. Not 100% sure how I feel abou it, the fact that I needed a stamping set due to a manfacturing failure, or the fact that the stampng set (I ordered) is made in China. Being honest . . . but perfer my tools made in one of three places: USA, Taiwan, or Japan.

Sockets are most likely heat treated after they roll-stamp the numbers into them. So, I'm thinking that this attempt may not work very well. You should be able to get a mark, but I doubt it will be deep, and I doubt the stamps will last long.
Edit- the sockets are most likely going to be over Rc50, and the stamps aren't going to be much higher.

For US stamps, I have Young Brothers. Which I'm sure cost several times what the Chinese ones cost. But I still wouldn't expect them to do this successfully.

Yup, that is definitely an older Tekton impact set ( up thread ). They are now laser and stamped.

I have some of the old chrome vanadium impact sockets as well as the newer ones. The old ones work just fine for me but the labels do wear off quickly.

I've got quite a bit of Tekton stuff... Drew me in with the student discount.

Very Happy:
3/8 & 1/2" Impact Sockets - No issues whatsoever
Wrenches - Totally fine
Dead Blow & DB Ball Peen - Great
Split Beam Torque Wrenches - been really happy with them so far, tooth count and flex head is a great improvement on my old cheap micrometer style (and not resetting to zero is sweet)
Hex Impact sockets - Hex have been fine I abuse the **** out of the 14mm in particular

Mostly Happy
Prybars - definitely showing signs of use, I can't say for certain if another brand would be better, I abuse them and see the striking cap as an invitation
Torx Impact sockets - broke one of the Torx using only a ratchet but they got me a replacement shipped (to Canada) that same week; where I live I genuinely think SnapOn would have been slower to replace a broken tool
4pc Ratchet set - Love the handles, ratchet heads are good 90 tooth, the flex heads are annoying in that they don't lock and the set screw backs out over time. I use the 3/8 stubby ratchet all the time.

I've got a bit of a credit and have been eyeing 3/8 and 1/4 chrome 12pt socket sets and maybe some screwdrivers.

I find the torx & hex impact sockets go pretty pointlessly low in size... How often do I want a 1/2" drive 6mm or 1/4" hex or T30 torx. I think those sets would be better with some 3/8 overlap.

just a nut looking for a squirrel weekender here...got a box full of Craftsman, Gear Wrench and Tekton tools. The Tektons seem to hold up well so far. Great website and easy to order.

I bought the Tekton 1/2" drive torque wrench as a back up for my Britool unit. I haven't tried it yet... Looks nice!

Dang, good point Steve, I forgot to consider that. But I only paid $5 bucks for the stamping set on FB Marketplace, so if they don’t work, I don’t have much invested.

I've bought several Tekton items. I've got an older set of metric 1/2" drive impacts that are good, an also older set of non-striking cap pry bars that are ok, the 56-piece 1/4" drive socket set that I like really well. My only real dud so far has been their flex-head ratcheting wrenches. I guess that's why they're getting ready to roll out new ratcheting wrenches across the board.

My 1/2" deep metric impacts are Tekton and I've had them 8-10 years. My only complaints are the laser etching (19mm is downright shiny) and the 10mm broaching is a little crude. Who uses 10mm 1/2" impact, anyhow?

I think a similar comparison was shown in another topic but I just got the Tekton mini prybars so .............

They are a nice in between size. I think the steep angle will come in handy. The larger prybar is a Milwaukee 8". The Milwaukee has a screwdriver size handle.

I've had a set of Tekton Metric wrenches for a few years now. Actually on my second set. Lost a few too many of the first set through moving around during my separation from my Ex-Wife. I bought the set I still use when they were 60 bucks a set. I've been wanting to get more of there stuff. I prob will come tax time.

Used my XL long DBEs today for yet another parts store parking lot repair when I happened across a young family needing the help. The vehicle was a Gary Indiana Rustbucket Escalade and those rusty 18mm caliper bolts were no match for the Tektons.

I know there are a few threads discussing these already, but I have to say my initial impression is “meh.” Quality doesn’t seem to be that great with those plastic latches and handles, and the price . . . thats the I don’t want to sell any price.

Made in Germany, I think its a hard pass on this one. . .

L-Boxx system is great, latches are fine on all the ones I’ve used. Presumably the tekton flavour of L-box is the same as all the others.

Does Tekton stock their boxes anywhere? The 48 and 60" tool boxes are very tempting, but I'm not willing to order something that expensive without having seen it first. I'm in Central Alabama, but I travel around the country several times a year for work. It'd be nice if there was somewhere within a reasonable drive of home, but I'd be willing to extend a trip to check one out elsewhere in the country if they have dealers or showrooms somewhere.
